Fragments Of The Past: 4

"Have you ever thought that what we're doing is a mistake?"      "No, as long as we love, loved, and will love each other, it's all that matters."      I just sighed after he replied, remained in silence while I savor this moment, and wish for this night to never end. This is absolutely a scene straight out from my dreams that had a chance to be given color and brought to life, and I'm so...grateful...      We're just stargazing for the night, laid down on the hood of his car, while I'm resting my head on his chest as I stared at the beautiful midnight sky. I don't mind counting all of these stars, as much as I don't mind spending my whole life with him only. If I could just leave everything behind, and escape with him, I would, but...I'm not that selfish enough... In just a few years, I'm going to enter college already, and after that, I could already have a job that has something to do with what I am passionate about. And that I am already free, I'm no longer bound to what other people tell me to do. And that's when I'll be able to have a happy, and peaceful life with this man right here...      "I really hope that...we would last, I don't mind if we weren't each other's first, but I wish that we would be each other's last," I said while I rested my hands on my belly, carefully feeling his chest fluctuating, and his heart beating.      "Well, we should try, make us work out, rather than keeping faulty promises," he replied while he's scratching my scalp softly, and it's absolutely soothing. "You make me feel so...alive, and that's what inspires me. I don't care how long are we gonna keep this from the world but I'll be right here for you, always... Even if fate had some sort of trick on us and we separated for some reason, I'll still come back for you, I'll find you, accept you, and cherish you..." he suddenly sat up straight which also made me sat up too. He looked at me right in the eye and held my hand while we're under the beam of the lamppost "Even if we break up, I'm still here for you, okay? Even if you decided to just date a woman and have a family of yourself, I don't care, I'm still here. Or if you found some cuter and...hotter guy -"      I cut him off by putting my thumb against his lips "Shut up, you're all that I want..." I said along with a smile. "Nothing's gonna tear us apart, and I'm certain about that. Mark this day, mark this hour, and even mark this freaking minute. I solemnly swear to the very ends of this Earth that we'll be together until we even share our grave," I then grabbed his hands and put them around my neck while I closed my eyes. He then pulled me close. Forehead to forehead, nose to nose, while we exchanged breaths.      "Why are your eyes still closed?" he asked and I just felt every word that came out from his mouth.      "I'm letting this body of mine be owned by your touch, letting you mark your territory, embracing your feeling, so that it's the only thing I'll be longing for," I said and he just grinned.      "Oh, so you want me to mark my territory? I think there's a better way to do that," he said then suddenly went for my neck and attempted to kiss me around there but I stopped him by shoving him away slightly.      "Not literally, dumbass, do you want my parents to kill me after seeing a damn hickey on my neck?"      "I'm just kidding, why so mad, Mr. D'Angelo?" he asked, mockingly yet in a sweet manner, and then rested his forehead on my shoulder. "It's getting late, maybe your parents are already looking for you."      I looked at my watch and it's almost 12 PM. "I'm way past my curfew and they're already gonna scold me anyway so, I'm just gonna enjoy this moment," I said then laid down on the hood of his car again, staring at the stars flickering.      He also laid down and for a moment I started to get worried about the hood of his car getting a dent, but it seems like he doesn't care too, he's way into this precious moment of ours. He held my hand while we stared at the sky, neverminding the cold as we're enveloped by the warmth of our love for each other. I looked at him, and he's just completely distracted by the beauty of the night sky. He's so...handsome... I love everything about him, he's so perfect. His adorable eyes, thick bushy eyebrows, his hair that is black as the darkest night and is also perfect in any way, and ugh, his addicting lips. I couldn't imagine life without him, it's like I'll be incomplete if ever we're really separated by fate, and I'll be longing for that missing part in every second. We're both scared about that, and that just proves one thing:      We love each other so much...      "Janine?" I called while I closed the door after I entered, as I was looking for my sister, obviously. I just got home from school but I'm just gonna drop my stuff and go out again, as Lawrence invited me to go to a fair tonight, like a date, I'm low-key excited but I am also low-key worried because I know for sure that my parents won't allow me to go out after I went back home really late last two days and that we have so many things to do at our online selling business. In fact, they never really allowed me to go out, jokes on them I actually loved staying indoors, before, but now, I can't resist the urge to not go out, especially when I'll be meeting him. So, I ended up sneaking out, it sounds crazy but I don't mind being grounded if I'm gonna be able to hang out with him as if it's our last, I also make sure to have a whale of a time when I finally get to hang out with him so that it's okay for me not to see him for a couple of days.      Janine walked out of her room with her eyes glued to her phone "What?" she asked without even looking at me and just keep typing something to whoever she's talking to.      I walked towards my room "Where's mom and dad?" I asked, then hung my coat up on the coat rack.      She leaned against the wall of our hallway "They uh..." she said, and it's like she didn't even understand what I just said because she's still busy on her phone. "What did you say?" and yeah, just as I thought.      "Nevermind, just tell them I headed out," I said while I changed inside of my room. I decided to wear my favorite black leather jacket and a black t-shirt beneath, along with my black denim trousers.      "That's it?" she asked. "Okay so mom's gonna ask me like: Janine, where's your brotha?  And I'll be like: He headed out momma, that's it, period," she mocked on the other side of the door.      I went out wearing my outfit for tonight "Just cover me up," I said.      Our front door suddenly opened and they're already here. I'm screwed.      They stared at me like I'm already guilty about something "What are you up to, big guy?" dad asked with his intimidating voice.      I quickly pulled Janine closer "I was just asking for her to uh...take a picture of me, yeah, that's all," I replied rapidly then signaled Janine using only my eyes to agree.      "Yeah, go over there, that's a good spot right there," she said then pulled me into my room, trying to play along.      They didn't even say anything anymore and just headed to the living room with a couple of shopping bags.      Janine suddenly pointed her index finger right into my face "Whatever is this that you're gonna do, I have nothing to do with this, okay? I'm telling you," she threatened me as if she were really intimidating. She already knows that nothing's gonna stop me from going out tonight so she already knows that I'm gonna do something just to be able to go out.      It's been an hour and I didn't even have the urge to eat dinner since I'm gonna be eating with Lawrence tonight anyways. Who knows, maybe food is not the only thing I'm gonna be eating tonight.      Just kidding...but, we may never know, until we go along with the flow.      I'm thankful that my room's located downstairs, I'm able to sneak out with no hassle. I lifted my window carefully and fled without making a sound, as easy as that. He's already been waiting for me and I guess he's already pissed by now. I didn't even dare to bring my car, since it makes so much noise when I start that old piece of junk. I hurriedly ran to our desired meeting place, and there he is, sitting on the pavement all alone. He's so cute, for now, because I know that he'll turn into an enormous dragon when he finally sees me after waiting for almost half an hour. I walked towards him while I'm low-key catching my breath. He gazed upon me and he immediately stood up and met me halfway.      "Where the heck have you been?!" he yelled, but all that I saw from his face wasn't anger nor irritation, it was worry. "I've called you several times already but you weren't answering, you got me worried... Such horrible stuff we're bugging my mind like what if he's being harassed again somewhere? Who's going to help him? What if he got into an accident? What if -"       I cut him off as I hugged him and rested each other's face on the other's shoulder "I'm okay, I actually forgot that my phone was still in my school uniform since I was plotting the whole time about how am I gonna be able to meet you tonight, I even had to sneak out just for you..."      He wrapped his arms around my waist "Just don't do that to me again, I might lose my mind. Ugh, you're the only reason why I'm always going crazy..."
