“Come on, girl, smile a little. You have finally met your mate.” Piper said to Layla. She knew Piper was trying to cheer her up about it, but Layla still had reservations.
I know we have heard a lot of stories about our mate, and most of them have not been good ones. But we haven’t been a saint either, so we do need to take that into consideration Harmony, Layla’s wolf said.
