Wyatt’s POV
It was a relatively uneventful drive to the restaurant. Everyone piled into the Suburban, and they headed to the capital. Wyatt drove with Piper riding shotgun. Layla and Killian sat in the first row of seats, not saying much to each other. Sam and Kinzie were in the way back, staring out the windows. The silence was so uncomfortable in the car that everyone was tense.
“Hey, let’s all get to know each other a little better,” Piper said. “We will all go around and say three facts about ourselves. I’ll start. Hmm. Well, I am eighteen. I just moved here from Boston.
