Chapter 15

Chapter 15 Wyatts pov Axel was jumping for joy in his head. We get to spend time with our mates. She wants to get to know us. Wyatt had to admit he was kind of panicking. He didn't know what she liked to do or where to take her. Did she like coffee? Did she like fancy restaurants or burger joints? He was at a complete loss right now. Carla came over and put a hand on his shoulder. She smiled and said, “My daughter loves coffee and has been frequenting that little shop on Sumner drive.” Wyatt smiled at her and said, “Thank you. Is it okay if I take her out for a coffee?” Derek walked over and smiled. “Wyatt, I couldn’t think of any man I would rather my daughter be mated too. I have not known you long but I know enough to know that my daughter couldn’t be safer or treated better.” “Your daughter is my treasure. She is the other half of my soul and she already means the world to me. I have waited so long for her to come into my life, and I plan on keeping her there.” Derek and Carla smiled warmly as they heard Piper thunder down the stairs. “Wyatt, why don't you join us for dinner tonight? Say around seven, that way we are all here to help Piper through her first shift. That includes you both too,” she added for Terry and Bennet. “We wouldn’t miss it. Anything for our Luna,” Terry said. Just then, Piper came back into the room. “Okay, I am ready,” she said. Wyatt stood up and took her hand. He could feel the sparks shooting up his arm, the sparks that he had longed to feel since he turned 16. He could tell she felt them too the way the most brilliant smile lit up her face. “What was that?” she asked. “I am guessing you felt the sparks of the mate bond, honey. That electric feeling will happen whenever you and Wyat touch,” Carla said. “Oh, okay. Um, I will be back mom.” “Take your time. Wyatt and the boys here will be having dinner here with us tonight so he knows to be back before seven.” Carla just smiled at her daughter. She never had the opportunity to find a mate but she was glad her daughter did. It was really a once in a lifetime love and she couldn’t be happier about it being Wyatt. “Are you ready to go Piper?” Wyatt asked. “Hey wait, don’t forget these,” Bennett said as he threw a set of keys at Wyatt, who caught them out of the air with ease. Wyatt handed Piper the keys and said, “Wanna drive?”
