Chapter 7

J's Pov :

Biding our farewell for the day we went our own ways. Entering the house I was greeted with very sweet welcoming words.(Note the sarcasm)

"Come here this instant you ungrateful brat" wow which child deserves to be called so by their own parents she continued with her words while I entered the living room "didn't I tell you to behave in front of the William's then why don't you for once listen to what I say. I already said that it was important not only for your sister but also for the company then why do you keep disobeying us."

"I am really sorry but I did exactly that and even if after that I am being blamed then I don't see any reason to do what you people ask of me to do" saying so I made my stand clear in front of Mrs. Collins. 

Mrs.Collins was completely pissed of by this because getting an answer for twice in the same day is not what she habituated with. "You should have done what you were told to do not open your mouth and talk rubbish also what did you say, you did as you were asked to then will you explain me why did Oliver leave Emily of the campus all alone. She was lucky that the driver was waiting otherwise think what it would have looked like. But just because of you , why didn't you listen to your sister and got into the car." said Mrs. Collins "It was you who said or better ordered that I stay away from them and now you want me to agree being in the same car as them, then next if she asks me to eat with them we would be eating together that is what you want now then if something would go wrong you would have easily blamed me for doing something I didn't even do." said so  I waited for the impact that I usually get but instead everything was silent and just a clacking sound was heard.

Mr. Collins entered the living room walking like a proper gentleman taking a seat he said  "There is something important which is needed to be discussed so if you all could sit down." "Have a good day" saying so I tried to make my exit.

"You also come here as it is more important for the whole family to be here so sit down" having no other room to argue I gave in and stood there because I very well know what happens if I sit with them.

'Sit down I need to say something to you people' mother said to young me and Emily. Taking that as their permission I tried to sit down besides my mother on the other side sat Emily but as soon as I reach to sit I was thrown away 'how dare you to make an attempt to sit near me how many times should I say for you to understand that you can never be the same as us till you are asked' saying so she patted Emily's head and kissed on the forehead. That day I learnt in the hard way that people say something while they mean something completely different my head was buzzing and blood was dripping from my head but all my dear mother cared was we were shifting schools and nobody is to know we were related that's not something new so it was ok with me. I got a few stitches that day Papa Ryan took me to the hospital when he saw my condition and was there while they were stitching me up even when the doctors asked how did I get hurt Papa Ryan said that I fell down while I was playing. Neither of my blood relatives even ask if I was ok and since that day I have stopped calling them mother and father and started calling them Ma'am and sir I don't think they objected to it because they never stopped me or corrected me. That night Papa Ryan was there by my side so I started calling him Papa Ryan rather than uncle."

"Are you even listening to what he is being saying" comes a booming voice which bought me out of my haze and the whole house to attention. "Sorry ma'am it's been a long day if I could be excused can you repeat sir"  I said keeping my head low. This seems to irritate Mr Collins as he said "We are not your slaves to repeat everything again our time is very precious. But it's important so I will repeat myself just remember this that you should not come, talk, or look at any of the Williams , change the direction you are if you ever come in front of them. Enter home from the back gate or better don't somebody will inform us that you are back just make sure nobody notices you. Oliver is already having his own doubts about you so remember to be careful. If possible miss University for some time till Emily and Oliver are sure to get married" " I will remain as hidden as possible nobody would know of my existence but I'll go to the university. It is really important I only have a few months left so please don't do it" I said pleading to them while I didn't want to plead them least bit.

"Once I have said no means no you are to be hidden and what if you come in front of somebody when you are in the university" Mr. Collins said.

"Sir if I hide then that will increase all their doubts so it's better that I keep to my own while doing everything I do as usual. Today also I did the same you can ask Emily if you want to". I knew for a fact that he didn't knew about today so better use it as an advantage rather than letting it go waste. I knew Emily could distort the truth in front of Mrs. Collins but she could never lie to Mr. Collins since everybody in the house knew it was severely punishable.
