Chapter 6

Noah's Pov

"And what about the mark on your cheeks" I asked

"Its... it's the regular Mrs. Collins slapped me because I gave her some unwanted answers" she said smilingly. "And may I have the privilege to ask about that" I said. "Nah don't bother yourself" she said .

I knew where it was going so I dismissed the thought of no further discussion because she may be smiling on the outside but she was surely upset on the inside. And which child won't be when your own parents didn't treat you as their own child. That was actually a puzzle that nobody could answer she does not in a least bit resembles any of her family members but the DNA and all proved it otherwise.

"Are we  ready to order" the waitress asked coming our way and we gave her our orders. It took about an hour for order to arrive and for us to eat and we left to the place where we go regularly to release our emotions a bit.

"This was all I needed" she said taking off her shoes and running towards the beach the waves were high at this time so I stayed close by her. I stared at her thinking how such little things make her happy and here she is all anybody could think of. Staring at her I remembered a distant memory instantly.

"Somedays after meeting J she was opening up to us or rather to Percy I was sad at that because I was the one who saw her at the first place. Then after sometime she started opening up to the whole family after which I came to know that we were in the same class but I never noticed her after giving it a little thought I remembered that she is the girl who always takes the back seat paying full attention to the class never ever missing a single question thrown her way and we were the best of our class I was usually placed second because of her. So once my parents took us to the beach, I thought who might not have seen a beach in their lifetime I mean don't get me wrong but she was 13 but there she was mesmerized by the sea. I still remember the way she said 'It's so beautiful ' looking at the sea. Me being me said ' haven't you been to one all these years' 'No' was all she said showing no emotions at all. Suddenly out of nowhere she asked 'why are the people taking off their shoes aren't they worried their feet may get dirty' ' 'Because silly it feels good, come on let's also take off our shoes and have a walk' saying so to her I headed towards my parents and asked them ' we will be roaming here for a while' to which my mother said 'ok but be careful and don't go near the sea' ' Okay' I said before running towards J. By then she had already removed her shoes and was ready this made me smile. We walked by ourselves till Percy decided to join us 'How are you feeling' he asked to J ' Fine actually it is really beautiful over here why can't we stay here always it's amazing' she said I like the fact that she was liking it ' Can we come here again please ' she asked to Percy 'Yes' I said without thinking which made them look at my way. Percy did tease me for a while because of it." 

Since then we are coming over here to eliminate any kind of stress or thoughts any of us have with or without Percy. 

"I think we should leave it's getting late" saying so I went to take her hand and leave but not before she gave me a really cute look and said "can we please stay a little while more please" sighing in defeat I agreed. We stayed there for a little more before leaving although J didn't want to leave. I just want her to be happy at all cost if it takes keeping my feeling a secret then also I won't hesitate.
