Like the existing inhabitants play in the pond on a sunny light, Stowe swam in the river. He came to the shore and watched the water. "Your story is great but just can't tell why the willingness to do this with you resist to resurrect in me, " he recalled Gerry's voice. He had done much he could in his power, yet, his strength failed. "Am I really existing?" He searched and depicted none to converse with. He decided to spend more time. "Why decide here your lonely desert? You are not an exile, why start now?" He turned to observe any. The wave lashed the water. He paid less attention. "Don't act weird to my voice. Come on, someone respond, " the voice again. "My anger is beyond this folly. Whosoever you are, show yourself, " he demanded. "I have nothing to bring to you. Am I still welcome? " the voice. "Your presence I perceive will do me worst than best. What is the need?" he was uncomfortable. "If there is no need, you need someone to lean on. Trust me, I can lend you my shoulder, " the voice again. "Show yourself. Stop appearing by voice, " he ordered with an intention to evacuate. He felt hands leaned on his shoulder from behind. "If today be my leaving day, I was prepared before I'm preferred, " he surrendered. She leaned her chin on his shoulder and wrapped on him. "You don't need that. Even if you try to do such evil to yourself, I won't mind saving you more than a thousand count, " his guardian Angel, Ainsley countered. He separated her hands off him and turned at her. "Who are you, lady?" he couldn't tell. She sat beside him and folded her hands. "I am responsible for your safety, that is why I wish you should know me visibly, " she faced a direction. "Your words are different from mine. You are assigned to protect me? Are you done protecting yourself?" he mocked. She frowned at him. "Come on, lady. Don't be ridiculous. You haven't protect yourself enough. How will you catch me if I fall?" he tempted. "I will bear you on an eagle's wings. Or are you weightier than an angel's wings?" she told. "I had my eyes rotated on you but can't find any wing planted in you. What have you come to do with me?" he could not understand. "I came for a chat, " she explained. "You lie a lot. Exactly what I'm reading in your mind I want your mouth to confess, " he insisted. "Come on, dude. The evil I saw birthed in your heart have the reason I'm here, " she unveiled. "Don't just go there because you won't change anything, " he shunned. "Stay calm, my dear. Don't do yourself evil, " she advised. "Is death not preferable than life?" he wondered. "It's not your turn to die. Every season have a reason and all person is alive for a reason. Since you have not find yours, I'm not at liberty to say that to you now. Maybe when the order is given, " she told. "I am not interested on now or later, " he was bordered. "Before I leave, hear this. There is a mystery you have not discovered about yourself. Until you discover it, you will yet remain hidden, " she declared. "What mystery?" he never heard that before. "I wish I can say. Till next. I'm late, " she walked south. He faced downward trying to interpret what she said. A flash of Torres. He wished to go to his apartment but he was not back from traveling. He followed through the path that led to his edifice. Samantha's phone rung. She rolled and stretched toward it. "Good day, honey. I saw you in my dream and wanted my call be your first call of the day, " she revealed. "I wish to say good morning to your lips standing not far off your breasts, " he called her mood awake. "Oh, my goodness! When will you repent? I care to know, " she joked. "If there was a way, I would have chosen but the way I see it going, it's hard for me, " he told. "Don't worry. You get prepared for me. I will be with you before this twenty-four hours is done. Do we have a treaty?" she was up. "Quite lucid but when you come, don't think of leaving me with the night. Do we have agreement?" he was sincere. "Hundred percent is not a guarantee but I will give in my best not to work out, " she told. "Promise me, " he was not satisfied. "Not now. Until I be with you. Gratified?" she hid the truth. "Not really but I will wait for that time, " he drank some tea. "Great. See you when you see me, " she smiled. "You will have a sumptuous meal waiting, " he promised. "No. For the first time, I will do that for us, " she changed the plan. "Alright. I play by your rules, " he agreed. Before another minute instigate a count, the call ended. "Exactly the way I love to be treated he just did. Goldsman, I love you, " she plugged the phone. A knock on the door. She came to the living room. "I wasn't expecting anybody. Could this be Goldsman?" she thought. On the third bang, she toured closer and opened. "Good day, miss. Samantha, you are looking beautiful this day. May I come in?" she told. "Stay where you are. I don't allow strangers into my home and beside, I wasn't expecting anyone's visitation. Do yourself good by giving me your identity, "she requested. "Well, Samantha. I am not a stranger but I am because you name me one. I won't be here if not important, "Scarlet told. "I put you on hold till you give me a name. Strangers are never nameless and angels do not, " she said. Scarlet smiled. "Very tough on interview. Well, call me Scarlet. Has that ended the interview?" she watched. "I wish I have more questions to proceed. Why should I attend to you?" Samantha frowned. "Because my presence here is beyond misery, " Scarlet hid it. "How much words will I wait to take from you?" she queried. "Maybe few or more. One but few, " Scarlet replied. Samantha opened the door wide. She walked in and sat. Samantha shut the door and sat on a single chair away from Scarlet. "Scarlet, here we are. Words are costly. Choose your words cautiously to boycott curse, " Samantha's temper walked high. Scarlet erected. "He is not for you but he is for you. Have a blissful day, " Scarlet approached the door way. "Wai... " The door slammed. "He is not for you but he is for you. What kind of... What does she mean?" she ran out to meet her. She was not depicted. "Amazing! Could she bean angel that come in human form to give message? I doubt it. She is not one, she can't be one, " she returned to the seat. She looked on the clock, it was 07:03a.m. She pondered on the statement without a lucid comprehension. Straight to the bathroom, she walked in and shut the door. The wind rise angrily from the cemetery. Particles and dust were in the midst of the whirlwind on the belly of Westcott's grave. The wind sinked. The ground tore along. It arose dead leaves around Jair's home. It assembled stones and threw on the door. Jair was distracted in his devotion. He stood awhile to guess. He tried to know if the call came to take him home. He got no satisfied answer. He opened. The dust covered him. The whirlwind ceased. He uncovered his nose and coughed. "You are not friendly this morning, tell why, " he waited on his words. Fair wind blew. A voice came out of it. "Jair, I came for battle. I will punish you greatly until you fulfill my wish, " Westcott appeared. Jair cleared his face and saw him. "Westcott, what is it this morning? I was willing to come say good morning. Your anger burns. I knew you travelled all night. Your spirit is not limited to that of the living. What have you seen?"Jair gave his ears. "I saw madness! Jair, go to her. That wedding must not hold. Separate her from him. If that marriage hold, I will do it my way, " Westcott told. "Ah... On that, I pray she listen. I just sent her message, " Jair defended himself. "By what means?" Westcott demanded. "Through the ghost of a warrior, " Jair explained. "Not enough. If I should visit her myself, I will do away with mercy and take violence along with me, " Westcott varnished. "I know you need this revenge so that you can have a place to stay in the midst of the dead. I pray she come to me before she mix her light in the dark, " Jair returned in. Samantha terminated an appointment and hoped to be with Goldsman. She drove and met the door locked. She opened her bag and took out her phone to call. A call came in. She offered a weird look on the screen. "Berg, I took this call to know why we should meet again, " she told. "Samantha, I know you don't mean to break up. I need you back. What happened the last time was a mistake I should never allow but forgive me, " he tendered apology this time. "Berg, save that s**t for your girlfriend, " she blocked his contact. It was hard for him to forgive himself. She dialled Goldsman's contact. He looked on the phone. "Jude, hold. I got my love on phone, " he took the call. "What's up, boy?" she tried to walk herself out of the past that came. "I'm not good with your absence, " he missed her. "I came so you can be good but no one is home. Who's gonna do you good?" she told. "A kind of joke, right?" he didn't believe. "I like jokes but not at this time, " she meant it. "I sure know I will meet you soon. Please, await me in ten, " he promised. "Once that time is out, till another time, " she was strict. "I take the deal, " he hung up. "No update for me?" Jude waited for a gist. "Men, I got to go, " Goldsman left him. He hurried to the car and drive off. Jude shook his head. He could not meet up with the time. He parked and searched for her. There was no discovery but a different type of car. She whined down and put out her face. "You are behind time. You screwed up. I'm not sure you can have me today, " she injected fear in him. "I don't think so. That you said is incorrect, " he doubted. "Why?" she watched his action. "Because I don't trust you to do me this evil, " he told. She opened the door and came out. She wrapped on him with kisses. "You are damn right. I can't do such evil. I disallow myself do such evil because my heart rejected it, "she told. "Aw. Thank God I still meet you. I am the late comer here. I hate to stay alone even though it hurt to stay, " he softly spoke. "I know but now you are here, I love to be with you, " she was herself. He smiled. "Of course, funny you, " he curled his hand on her waist. They took a walk to the door way. He opened, they went in. "Now that you are here, pay your debt, " he looked into her eyes.
