"You're late for the breakfast, Princess Erysthea," Guardian Chase said the moment she walked out of her room. She's five minutes late for breakfast and her guardian is furious. Good thing that her parents are not here because for sure, she will receive too many words for the day.
"I am sorry Guardian Chase. I finished my study last night so I don't have enough sleep," Princess Erysthea explained.
Guardian Chase suddenly felt uncomfortable. He indeed wants the princess to call him "Guardian" but the moment he hears it, he felt a sudden pain in his chest. He can't find any reasonable explanation for why he feels this way.
"So I guess, you are ready for the exam later?"
The princess nodded. She doesn't utter any word and just walks straight to the dining room. The breakfast is ready at the long table. While looking at the food, she just let out a big sigh because she already lost her appetite for this morning. It's true that she already slept late last night, not because of studying, but because of her mini encounter with the prince. She can't forget what happened even in her dreams, the prince is there.
She begins to eat her breakfast silently. It will be a long tiring day so she wants to have a lot of energy. She didn't give attention to her guardian that was currently staring at her. All of her focus was on her food.
