11 - PRINCE PHILIP

“Can I eat my dinner early? I want to sleep,” Princess Erysthea told to her guardian after the dismissal of her study.

“I don’t think we can do that Princess. It’s only 4:00 in the afternoon. You may take a nap and we will wake you up when it’s time for your dinner. And besides, your parents might join you at the dinner,” Guardian Chase said in a serious tone but wearing a smile on his lips. He knows that the princess will be happy if she will know that her parents will be here tonight.

“Are you serious?” the princess asked in disbelief.

She wants to be happy because of what she heard. But she doesn’t want to expect anything. It might change due to the unpredictable schedule of the King and Queen. She doesn’t want to be hurt again.

“Yes. So I will wake you up at exactly 7:00 in the evening. You may take a nap now,” her guardian reassured her.

She just nodded and headed to her room. She lied again because the truth is she will not sleep. She quickly took out her simple dress from her cabinet. She removed all of her pieces of jewelry and also her make-up. Then she changed her dress. When she thinks she is ready, she locks the door and then teleported to the Universal Academy.

Many students are walking back and forth. It’s break time so many students are heading to the cafeteria. The princess will go there also but when she saw the four girls from yesterday, she changed her plan. She doesn’t want anyone who can interrupt her plans. So instead of heading to the cafeteria, she went to the opposite side.

She only has three hours to talk to any princes but she doesn’t know where are they. Maybe, they are also in the cafeteria just like the other students. So her problem now is how can she talk to the three without catching the attention of all the students.

While thinking, she just continues walking until she bumps into someone. She didn’t see the guy because she was in deep thinking.

“Watch where you walking!” the guy yelled at her.

“I am sorry,” she apologizes as she lifts her gaze and saw the man she bumped.

Prince Philip. She knew the face of the prince of Aer Kingdom because of its picture on the paper. Suddenly, the prince hold her arms and stared directly into her eyes.

“Who are you? You’re not a student here,” Prince Philip asked.

"I'm sorry Prince Philip," she apologizes while her hands were shaking.

Princess Erysthea doesn't understand why she's nervous. With the way the prince looks at her, her heart beats so fast that makes her sweat. Those cold eyes sent shivers to her spine. It’s the first time she felt threatened by just looking in the eye.

“You’re not answering my question. Who are you?” the prince asked again.

“I am Thea,” the princess quickly answered.

Among the three princes, she must say that the prince of Aer Kingdom is the worst. He’s not good at talking to other people. He is not gentle and he is the coldest.

“Well, Ms. Thea, if I were you, you should always focus on where you walking. If this happens again, I will make sure that you will be punished. Remember that I am a prince, I can do whatever I want. Are we clear?”

She can’t take those words. This guy is rude and she just can’t agree with what he said. He’s the prince but he can’t treat other people like this.

“Yes, you are the prince but that doesn’t mean that you are always right. I apologize to you but let me tell you, it’s not only my fault. You bump into me because you didn’t also see me, right?”

Prince Philip was amazed because it was his first time meeting a girl that is not afraid of what he can do as a prince. Most of the girls he encountered, they are like a puppet that whatever he said, they will follow. But this girl is different. And instead of making him mad, this girl just caught his attention.

“Are you just disrespecting me?” he asked in disbelief.

“No. Having dignity is different from being disrespectful. So if you’ll excuse me.”

Princess Erysthea took a chance to run. She quickly hide in the big tree and teleported back to her room. She can’t talk to the prince any longer so she just chooses to go back to her room. She’s still feeling nervous and can’t forget the serious face of the prince of Aer Kingdom. If ever this prince will be her husband, she will just live the rest of her life in fright. She just can’t imagine that kind of life.

She must do her plan immediately. But how can she talk to the three princes now? Her plan was just ruined by different scenarios that she was not expecting to happen. It was chaos.
