REVISITED: The Lost City Awakening

I woke up suddenly because I thought I had died. I can still feel the sharp teeth of those zombies biting me. I saw everything. while escaping the hordes of zombies. they made me bait so they could escape. as I felt my head is about to explode. "ugh, what happened? Where am I? " Aiden stood in this unfamiliar yet he had this nostalgic feeling. for the last time even now, he felt the feeling of being home again. he looked around. "oh my god" he felt emotional because this is his mother's home town. he still feels the presence of his mother. so he thought of selling it in his previous life. that was the most mistake he ever had and he blame himself for it. because this is the last memory left for him by his mother. even after spending 20yrs since the apocalyptic era. Aiden still remembers every corner of this house. house and land are about 6,600 square meters in size. half of the land is planted with different kinds of vegetables. twenty percent is planted with fruit trees, ten percent is for raising animals. this is the reason Aiden survived as an orphan. because they died early. Aiden quickly went home because there is something important he wants to do. He didn't buy any equipment or weapon for this coming zombie breakout. Because the apocalypse has not descended yet. So it's still illegal. He remembers his father has a lot of weapons stored in the basement. He didn't know why he feels that his parents are mysterious. Every time he went home every night he has carrying a new weapon. I don't know if he's addicted to collecting them or if he is a killer. That's why he doubts his parents if they're good or bad people. When he went into the basement secretly, he saw how beautiful yet dangerously harmful.
