Supernatural Academy

Scarlett "And we are here," I announced. "Wow," Dasmine said. "I wasn't expecting a castle." "Well, they go big," I said. "Have you been here before?" "No, but I have heard of this place before," "Oh," Dasmine cheerfully got out of the car and headed to the front gate. Two vultures suddenly appeared and landed on the top of the gate. "Why are you here?" one said. "Oh s**t, they talk," Dasmine said. "You curse," I laughed. "They are familiars." "Oh," "We are enrolling," "No parent or guardian," the other vulture asked. "Nope, mine died and hers gave her away," I said bluntly. "You may enter," they both said. I grabbed Dasmine and throw my arm over her shoulder. "Let's go,"  we walked and walked. This castle was huge and no one seemed to want to tell us where to go. We finally made it to some sort of an office. "Hello, I am headmistress, Lilith," A tall woman with blonde hair said. "You're kidding me," I laughed. "Excuse me?" "Nothing," "Scarlett and I are here to enroll," Dasmine said trying to cut the awkward tension. "Very well," Lilith said. "And what kind of supernatural creature are you?" "I am a wolf and she is," Dasmine paused. "I am a witch, of course," I said smiling from ear to ear. "Oh, really," The headmistress said. "Yep," I grinned. "Okay, well fill these out and make our blood oath," she said. I looked over all the papers and rules. They could take away your powers for small infractions. They basically owned you and you had to follow strict orders from all the teachers. "So?" the headmistress noticed I was hesitating. Well, it's not like she can take my powers away from me. I signed and made my blood oath. "Very well. Winter, show them their rooms." We walked and walked some more while Winter explained a few things. "The witches dorms are over there and the wolf dorms are that way," Winter pointed. "You might have classes together but you know how things are. You stay with your own kind. The night class is strictly forbidden, it is only for vampires. You will most likely never see them. "Wait so we can't room together," Dasmine said. "No, of course not, you are a wolf and she is a witch," Winter said. "Now go." Winter quickly walked away leaving us in the hall. "So you go this way and I go that way," I said to Dasmine. "But," "Hey, I'll see you again, and if you need me just call for me," "You will hear me," "Something like that," "Okay," Dasmine said more cheerfully. I headed towards my dorm. Of course, all of the students stared at me like I had gum in my hair. "Fresh meat," I heard a few boys say. I made it to my dorm and found my room. No one was here but I knew it was too much to ask for me to be living here alone. "Who might you be?" I heard a girl say. "I'm Scarlett, a fellow witch, and roomie," I said trying to sound polite and pleasant. "My name is Anna," She had light golden brown hair and pouty lips. Her brown eyes stared at me for a good five minutes. "Reese is going to like you," she said. "You are so beautiful." "Um thanks," I replied. "Who is Reese." "He is our coven leader," Anna said. "None of you come from the same coven so how is he your leader," I asked. "Well, he appointed himself and he is strong," Anna explained. "He has so many powers and no one will challenge him." "Well, then maybe I shouldn't meet him," "Ha, you're so funny," Anna said. Apparently, everyone thought I was funny. "Your first class is in twenty minutes." I rolled my eyes. Of course, I may have forgotten I would have to sit in class during this little experiment. "I'll shower and get dressed so we can head over together," I told Anna. I was trying so hard to be on my best behavior. Being nice was not something I was used to. Twenty Minutes Later "Welcome students to fire magic 101," a very old man with a long grey beard said. "I am professor Samual for all you new students." "This class isn't that hard but projecting any elemental magic without a magical fairy is hard," Anna explained. I knew and understood most magical techniques but some things were still a mystery to me. I guess this experience would come in handy. The first guy who tried to perform magic couldn't. Two girls went and they barely drew out a flame. A dark-haired handsome guy walked from the back towards the professor. "I'll try," he said with the cockiest smile I had ever seen. "That's Reese," Anna said. "Of course," He winked at a few girls that were standing next to him. He suddenly summoned a fire fairy and used its power to create a flame in his hand. I laughed and professor Samual heard me. "Would you like to try, young lady," "Who me?" I said. "Yes, miss," "Scarlett," I said. "Okay, come on down," I walked down and looked around. Reese's brooding brown eyes were looking straight at me. "So, go ahead," professor Samual said. "I can't," I said softly. "What was that?" "I can't." I hated that I couldn't just use my powers. I could literally burn this place to the ground without assistance from anyone but I couldn't actually since no one knew what I really was. "No worries," Reese said coming up from behind me. "I can always teach you." "Back off lover boy," I said. He chuckled while everyone else gasped. "I love it when they play hard to get," he said. "I just love to play hard," I winked. I went back to my seat and pretended to listen to the professor but I was really trying to figure out how I would last here. I didn't play nice and I didn't need help with magic. If I was exposed before I could figure out what really made me come here, I was going to be f****d.
