CHAPTER ONE Leonardo POV "May her soul rest in peace" the priest said and everyone started dispersing one after another until it was only the deceased person's family members. "Son....." "Leave him let him be alone for a while" Mum said interrupting Dad. Dad sighed and turned to Luca "Luca you stay with him and bring him home when he's ready" Dad said. After a while they left. I knelt down beside my grandmother's grave shedding tears I have lost the only family member that understood me, my comfort is gone. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up to see an angel with gold hair and eyes holding a bunch of roses. 'Am I dreaming?' I pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, 'ouch!' she's real "Hey" she said smiling and sat down beside me "I know its heartbreaking to loose someone but its God's decision" she said and I sniffed. "Here lay it on the grave" she said giving me the roses, I laid it on the grave and sniffed back my tears. "So who did you lose?" she asked after I had calmed down. I wasn't in the mood to answer so I just showed her my nanna's picture. "Oh! I also lost my nanna three weeks ago, but as my nanna always says 'life goes on'" she said smiling sadly. " Silly me, I'm Aurorin. I'm 7 years old" she said. I just silently watched her in awe. "How old are you?" she said after a while I don't answer her. She didn't get angry she was still smiling, I gestured with my hands 11. We talked, not really I just demonstrated with my hands but she didn't complain, I really enjoyed her presence. "Aurorin!!!!!" a woman called. "Oh no!!" she exclaimed and stood up. I looked at her with a questioning expression "it's my mum. Why don't we meet again tomorrow here by 12pm" she said and I nodded. "I'll take that as a yes, Bye!!" she said and left. "Bye" I said but she was already gone. "Young Master I think we should be on our way home" Luca said and I walked towards the car. We entered the car and he drove home, I stared outside the car while he was driving. I saw Aurorin leave her mum who was scolding her and ran towards a poor old man giving him her cookies. I smiled 'She's pure, innocent and cute' I was lost in thought when the car stopped, I got out of the car and walked into my room ignoring everyone, that's how I've been since nanna died. Mum said but I left her to meet a Poor old man. "You have it Sir" I said smiling. "Your such a wonderful and amazing child. Your character will be put to test my dear" he said. " You're the ray of light to someone's dark path" He said and stroked my hair. "Be blessed my child" he said "Amen!" I said and then we went home. As we go home I met my Dad on the couch "My Darling" he called and opened his arms for me to hug him. I reluctantly hugged him not to hurt him and immediately detached, I sat opposite the couch they sat on. Mum started ranting about what I did today, "My Darling I've told you that this world is filled of bad people and your too pure and innocent, they'll take advantage of you" Dad said. "As if I've not already met some" I said and left before they remind me of my past. I went to me room and as always told my nanna's picture about my day. After a while a knock came across my door "Aury baby it's time for dinner" My housekeeper said. She treats me like her child and I'm more close to her than Mum. "I'm coming" I said and went down for dinner, I sat down ignoring my parents. Then my elder brothers came down, firstly my eldest brother Jude he's 14 years, he pecked me "Good evening sunny" he said and sat down. Then Josh, he's 12 years old, he ruffled my hair and pecked me "Good evening Siren" he said , I pouted angrily causing him to laugh and he sat down. We ate our dinner silently and retreated to our room, I kept thinking of the cute boy I met and what I'll do when I meet him, I slept off.
