Interrupted

When they pull up outside Jakes home, and all step out of the vehicle. Jake suddenly sweeps Lily off her feet picking her up in a bridal like fashion. He carries her indoors, and further into the downstairs part of the house. Jake carries her with ease, and without complaint.

He walks into a room and places her gently down on to a sofa. Intrigued Lily looks around at her surroundings.

Much like Jakes bedroom, and the tiny amount shes seen of the house so far, this room is beautiful, and tastefully decorates in a minimalistic yet comfortablt style.

The room he’d brought them to, appeared to be a living room. Lily slowly looks around in awe, seeing the huge sofa she is currently on. The matching sofa on the other side. A large fireplace and a huge flatscreen on another wall.

The room itself is huge with enough sofas and seating to fit a large number of people in comfortably.

As Lily looks around she feels eyes upon her. She looks forwards and sees Jake is looking at her thoughtfully, a soft smile on his face. But a hint of sadness in his eyes.

“What?” she asks him.

“You look so perfect here.” he gives a sad smile at this. “But I can’t help but think what I would have done. If I’d lost you so soon after finding you!” his voice falters and breaks on this last part.

Without thinking Lily places her hand on Jakes chest. She can see his whole body appear to relax at her touch.

She takes her hand away, and wraps her arms around his neck. Resting her head against his shoulder.

“Jake..... I’m not going anywhere, okay. You’re not getting rid of me that easily! For as weird as this is, considering I’ve not long met you. I feel like I am exactly where I’m meant to be” at this they both looked into each others eyes, and see the truth of the situation and their feeling etched on each of their faces.

Lily leans forwards off the sofa and takes Jake’s head in her hands, pulling him gently towards her before pushing her lips against his. The second their lips touch, the tingles become overwhelming. Their bodies are drawn together, seeking to be closer to each other. Jake places a hand either side of her behind and pulls her to the edge of the sofa so her legs are now either side of his waist. He pulls away from their kiss and runs his lips down her jawline and back down to the base of her neck. When he reaches a particular place he stops and begins to focus his attentions here, kissing her and nipping her. Lily groans, the sensation of his attentions overwhelming her.

So engrossed in each other they did not initially here the awkward cough from the other side of the room.

It wasn’t until a sudden shout of “Alpha” drew Lily to pull away and look over to see an awkward looking Lucas stood there. Although her attention eas drawn back to Jake when he let out a deep growl.

“This better be important” he spat with a menacing scowl directed at Lucas.

Lucas looked increasingly more uncomfortable as the situation went on. “I’m sorry Alpha, but it’s pretty urgent.”

At this both Jake and Lucas stopped talking, but were looking at each other and appeared to Lily to be having a silent conversation.

Jake nods at Lucas before looking back at Lily.

With a slight frown, Jake stands up.

“I’m sorry Lilly, we will have to comtinue this later” he places a gentle kiss on the top of her head and strides off behind Lucas.

This left Lily in the unfamiliar room by herself, not really knowing what to do.

Lily sits back on the sofa and looks around her, taking in more of the room.

As she does this she suddenly heard a noise and was surprised to be met with a female walking into the room and leaping onto the sofa next to her.

“Hi, I’m Jade” the unknown energetic female grinned.

Lily looked at her, taking in her striking brown hair which was shaved on one side, her tattoos and yet seemingly almost familiar looking eyes and facial shape.

“I’m Lily” she stutters out in response, slightly unsure on what to make of this situation and having always been awkward around most new people.

Jade smiles back at her, a genuine and sincere smile.

“I’m really glad my brother has finally found his mate. I couldnt have put up with his sulking for much longer!” she winks.

“Although I’ve had to wait to get a chance to talk to you, as he made us keep away.... didn’t want to overwhelm you or something” she rolls her eyes.

Lily chuckles, and smiles back. Jades bubbly, friendly personality seemingly infectious.

Despite Lily’s difficulties in having genuine friendships that she was really interested in. She could feel an instant liking to Jade, and felt comfortable in her company.

Jade jumped up and grabbed a remote before throwing herself back down on the sofa. “What would you want to watch?” she asks, looking over at Lily.

“Erm....well maybe you could tell me a bit more about everything instead and help me understand more?” as Lily asked this she could see Jade grinning at her request.

“Yes girl, I’ve got you!” Jade squealed. Before getting off the sofa and dashing off somewhere.

Before Lily could even begin to wonder where she had gone. She reappeared with her arms laden with snacks.

“Can’t have a girly gossip without snacks now, can we” Jade remarked, as she threw some popcorn in her mouth and sat back down.
