CHAPTER 1
"Hey! Put that down! That's not yours!" Furia exclaimed as she ran downstairs and snatched her teddy bear from me.
"Wait! I'm not done sewing it yet!" I replied and grabbed the bear back from her hands,
"Mom! Zire is being mean again!" Furia yelled as she hunched down from her knees.
Our mother, Nevida, turned her head around to face us while she removed the freshly baked pie out of the oven that's beneath her. She then served it on the table as she walked towards us,
She slowly knelt down on my little sister who is still whining, sitting on the floor.
"Furia, sweetheart, I asked your brother to sew your teddy bear's ripped arm...because mommy is busy baking us some pie!" Nevida explained as she formed a smile on her face while wiping my sister's tears.
I then pulled one last string as I bit the yarn off the bear's arm, I gradually handed the stuffed toy to her. Seeing her happy face as she hugged the bear nonstop,
As the door opened, seeing my father Roberto, carrying a bunch of wood on his hands, I didn't hesitate to help him out as we headed through the fire furnace close to the kitchen.
"C'mon everyone! Dinner's ready" our mom said while she stood up holding my sister's hand whilst they walked towards the dining table.
Our father sat beside my mom across the table, while me and Furia did the same as well. I handed each and one of them the utensils and the plates, I went back to the counter to grab the mugs,
The moment I placed the mugs down the table, I felt a slight quake from the ground, unexpectedly, our neighbors started screaming that made our heads turn outside the window.
Me and my sister formed a worried expression on our faces, my father quickly stood up from his chair as he forcibly opened the wooden piece from the floor, he then took the firearm with him.
"Stay here" he glanced once more at us before he leaves.
Our mom stood up while she took us to the corner keeping us safe in her arms,
The quake got worse even more that caused us to fell from where we stand, as the pieces of woods and bricks had fell from above. Our mom in a rush, led us out of the cabin as we headed towards the nearest forest.
While we were running, our mother who's hyperventilating hid us by a tall dark tree, an unexpected beam flew out of nowhere and striked onto tree where we were tucked in,
My sister yelled in fear, as our mother protected us. The moment I looked onto the dull sunless sky, I saw nothing but a huge ruinous aircraft followed by two other enormous ships.
The screams of agony can be heard, and it only keeps getting louder. People are running to their deaths as cyborgs mercilessly execute innocent children, This behemoth of a building descending upon us, was staring at us furiously. "Nazarath" they say, the Creator of the Bots.
"I'll be back", my mom whispered. And before the opportunity came to me that I should say goodbye, she leaves. I could see her running to get my father, though, bythe minute she was almost there.
An enourmous blast, struck upon them dread filled me up as the wave of heat encompassed my exposed head, and I think, as much as I dread recollecting it, that was the last moment I saw my parents.
My sister screamed and cried incessantly, "NO!!", as she hesitantly ran towards them. I couldn't believe my eyes. This was reality, this is what's happening.
Tears slowly roll down my cheeks, I run after my sister, and at that very moment something distracted me. A firearm, proportionately larger, almost as big as my arm could carry. It whizzed as I grabbed it from the grass and carried it with me.
I heard familiar screams, screams I had heard a hundred times. I turned my head to see Furia, who was being held by a cyborg. I pointed the heavy g*n at the bot, almost dropping with the immense weight of the g*n.
I shout, saying "PUT HER DOWN!!", as tears still rolling down my cheeks,
"Put her down" another voice follows mine, slowly approaching us. It appeared to be a man, like he's in his 20s, having brushed up blonde hair, wearing a long dark brown coat, dark gray long sleeves a pair of black shoes and pants. He isn't what I thought he'd look like, his other eye is different, different in color and contrast, and it got me curious.
He slowly knelt down on me and asked me, "What's your name?".
I couldn't speak, I couldn't bring myself to speak, I couldn't bring myself to process anything, in a dazing fashion with my parents lying lifeless before me.
"Hey, I'm asking you a question, what's your name?", he once again asked, I turned my head on him after bringing upon my senses, and I replied
"Zire...Zire Castelo". He smiled.
"Hello Zire, nice name you got there, I could see that g*n you're holding, it's quite dangerous for a kid like you to hold a g*n like that without knowing how to use it, give it to me and I will do no harm".
I, being reluctant, gave it to him slowly.
"Good boy" he patted my head and he stood up. My sister ran over me as she clutched through my clothes looking frightened, the man stared at us with a solicitude expression.
"How about you?... what's your name?..." I asked while my voice shakes,
"You can call me Droid," the man responded.
He then offered the both of his hands right infront of us, me and my sister looked at each other for a moment, we don't have a home nor nowhere else to go. We have no choice, we then held his hand while the three of us headed towards the aircraft.
I stood on my own there within the chamber, with the both of my palms on my back, gazing the ruinous wall infront of me, as I recalled the painful memory,
"Captain, Captain",
My soldier has been calling me multiple times, I let a heavy sigh out and finally bringing my consciousness back to reality.
"What is it?" I asked while facing him, Feint, my trusty soldier.
"The Matriarch has ordered to send every team on her dominion for a short congregation" the soldier told me while I saw my sister walking out of the chamber,
"Alright... I'll be there" I simply responded as Feint saluted before he departed.
I then moved myself heading towards my ship, it's been twenty years since Furia and I talked to each other. Ever since we started working for Nazarath, she became a cold blooded sister to me, so am I.
The two of us kept on walking the same direction where I'm heading, I can hear her footgear tapping on the ground, loud and clear, I can't resist it, I then stopped her and asked agressively.
"What?",
She then glanced at me, she raised an eyebrow, questioning me instead.
"Say it, I know you want to say something everytime you stump your feet like that" I said as I glared at her,
"I think she's alive..." she replied.
"If this is about Mom and Dad, I'll pass" I said as I glared at her one more time before I proceeded my way.
"I think she's alive! I think...I know it, and I can feel it" Furia said while she blocked my path.
"Furia. Enough, that's what you think, but you're wrong. They're dead, we can't bring them back, get over it" I said in a monotone voice as I walked past her approaching my ship.
I then shifted myself inside the capsule, as I buckled my seat up while putting the ship's engine into ignition. The aircraft slowly went outside the station, as the sunlight reflected through the window.
I squinched as the sun's ray striked into mine, the ship then slowly took off from the ground, flying from above, merging with the bright blue sky.
After minutes of hovering from beyond, I finally arrived at Nazarath's Domain, I slowly landed the ship from where the other aircrafts are parked as well, I then took my sling off my body as I threw myself out of the capsule.
I took my time to look around the place before going inside the monument,
"Captain" Greer and Feint says as they approached me, the two gentlemen then raises their right hand to salute me.
I saluted back, Greer, my second trusty soldier. Him and Feint are very good friends, they've been very obedient to me ever since I became the Captain of Alpha Centaurus II.
"Castelo!" Garrett yelled from the distance while walking towards us, together with his assistants, I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"I didn't know you were coming?" he questioned.
"Of course I did, it's a meeting, what else I came here for?" I responded as I glanced at him.
"Oh! You did? Or you came here because of the promotion...?" Garrett questioned mockingly.
I did my best to control my temper, and I simply ignored the man, I then proceeded my way inside the monument while my trusty soldiers follows me from behind,
Four teams are aligned in the monument's center, while the higher ranks stood in front. Alpha Centaurus II, Proximanians, Jovians and Delta Cavillers. The Matriarch, who is in the center in front of her men, with Droid on her right and Nikolai on her left.
Before starting to talk, our superior took a minute to glance at each of us, then a smirk appeared on her face as she took a deep breath,
"I know some of the teams are running out of armies and soldiers...so am I...we can easily replace that by utilizing those feeble mortals on Gaia...our gigantic robot Vasti is our only hope...just there's one more piece to complete our weapon...the energy, the core is the only thing that can power our Vasti..."
"Although, I have a difficult duty for all of you, whomever brings me the energy in Gaia first, that person will be my right-hand...there are over seven billion humans on the planet, and one of you best find this individual. Did I make myself clear?" Nazarath stated as she gave us a grim look,
"Yes Ma'am!" all of the teams yelled in response.
All of the groups then slowly departed, one by one, as the other armies went on their perspective ships preparing for take off, the Matriarch gradually walked towards as her assistants follows,
"Are you sure on what you are doing?" Nikolai leaned and whispered,
"Of course I am, I don't care whether they die or struggle over finding this power...but once I have it, we will be invincible..."Nazarath responded while she gazed at Nikolai,
Droid wore a concerned expression on his face while standing motionless as if he hadn't heard anything.
Zire, Furia, and their soldiers shifted themselves inside the aircraft before leaving the ground. As the capsule gently hovered from above, soon after they fled away from their planet, the crew took a jump point for a faster arrival to earth,
The ship then slowly entered the atmosphere, Furia gazed onto the window seeing the city lights glow from below, her eyes had filled with amazement as the luminescence occupied her entire vision.
"So many things had changed..." she thought to herself.
"How are we going to find the energy with this many people?" Furia muttered.
"We'll just going to abduct every human we see and then we'll test them out...easy as that" Zire responded as he piloted the aircraft,
The capsule landed on a forest on a vast space, with shady tall green trees, bushes and logs are surrounded by the space engine. The crew then exited the aircraft while bringing a few weapons with them.
The two trusty soldiers guarded the ship in the moment of their captain's departure, while Zire and Furia alongside with their bots had proceeded their way on doing their task.
