“Eat up, replace the energy you wasted so we can make it to Winter Beach by sundown,” he said with a grin.
The others laughed. The warm winter morning grew warmer as Sartin sat and ate next to Sommar.
Once full, the small pod of Alewars headed toward Winter Beach. Stover led the group, Ballek, Saric, Mai, Siddiq, Selvage, Springer, and Shriner forming a protective ring around Sartin and Sommar. The calm weather kept the current quiet for their journey.
