BILLIONAIRE FAMILY CONTRACT.

CHAPTER 10.

I know I requested for a miracle and it came in an unexpected way, but I promised my siblings I would do anything to save our mom and Alex seems like a good man. He doesn't mind being the father to my children and the benefits are mouthwatering. I know it might seem as if I'm selling myself for money but if you were to be in my shoes, you would understand where I'm coming from.

At least, I'm not going into prostitution and I will be with just him for ten years. It's a risk I'm willing to take for the sake of my family. I sent the softcopy file to the w******p group created for Brian, Felix, Vincent and Rachael with urgent typed in capital letters. Few minutes later, I checked to see who had seen the file and they all had, so I dropped my phone to read the contract again.

There was no loophole in the contract according to my knowledge, it stated in the contract that I can decide to start my own business or stay at home because I can't work for anybody. Any business I want to venture into will be funded by him and I get to keep it by the end of the contract.

A notification takes me away from my thoughts, it's a voice note from Vincent. I opened it and connected my earpiece not wanting him to hear any negative comments from my family. I pressed play.

“I have questions but I know you won't send this to us if you are not considering saying Yes and I also know you won't say Yes if he's a bad guy so I will ask just three questions. Firstly, what's his name? Secondly, what does he do? And lastly, what does he get from this?” He concludes, I heard Rachael's voice next “What does he look like and how did you meet him?” The message finished after that.

I smiled in gratitude, the message shows they are in support so I typed the answer back to them. I looked at Alex who is seated beside me doing something with his phone, he seems to notice he's been gazed at because he looked at me immediately, he tried to smile but it's obvious he doesn't smile that much. I looked away with a smile of mine, I got a message back from them telling me the contract is genuine and that they are happy with my decision. Now, my siblings hopefully they say Yes also.

A voice message from Felix comes in first, he asked the same questions as Vincent and he expressed his displeasure to the contract but I replied him with the same answer I sent to Vincent and added that he looks at the bright side of things and the benefits, after a while he replied with an alright but he needs to meet Alex before any marriage takes place.

Brian's message comes in after saying the contract is perfect for us before going ahead to express his displeasure, so I told him the same thing I said to Felix. He said alright after a while that I can sign the contract.

“Do you have a pen with you?” I asked him after getting a Yes from my family.

“I'm guessing everyone is on board.” He said, giving me a customized ball pen from his trousers pocket.

I collected it from him then appended my signature on the dotted line and gave it to him to do the same which he did. I realized that I didn't even know his surname. What if he has a stupid surname?

“I didn't get your full name?” I asked stupidly after he gave the contract to a scary looking man dressed in black that I didn't notice arrived beside him. I looked at the man fearfully, “Who is he?” I asked Alex quietly.

“You don't have to be scared of him sweetie, he's just a bodyguard.” He responded using his index finger to lift my head to look at him.

His touch felt very light and his voice sounded soft, “My full name is Alexander Lux Knights, baby.” He continued looking deeply into my eyes as if he was communicating with me silently.

I just nod my head in response, carried away by his finger that is resting on my chin. “Your mom will be moved to Knights Hospital, she will be operated on there and she will be treated with the utmost priority.” He said again, keeping his phone in his pants pocket, he stood up and offered me his hand.

I took his hand and we walked out of the park only then did I notice how late it is, I promised Felix I will be bring him dinner but I forgot he must be starving and he won't leave mom and I also noticed we were surrounded by more scary men in black suits, they all looked buff and scary with just an expression on their face. They looked around our surroundings as if accessing for a threat making me look around also trying to see what they are looking for.

The sound of a door opening and a hand pushing me from behind takes me away from them, I looked behind me to see that Alex is the one pushing me into an open car. I entered the car and he closed the door while I was looking around the elegant interior, Alex comes in through the other side and he took his seat beside me.

“Where are we going?” I asked him quietly, I made sure that aside from my bum that is seated on the luxurious leather seat none of my body is touching anything else, my hands are placed on my bag which is on my lap.

“We are going to Sunnyside Hospital to get your mom moved to Knights Hospital, an ambulance should be there already for the transportation.” He said placing his right hand on my intertwined hands and typing away on his phone with his left hand.

“Knights Hospital is very expensive, we can leave her at Sunnyside.” I told him. Knightsbridge Hospital has the most expensive healthcare in the world and I don't want him to spend more than he plans to.

“What's my name, darling?” He asked me, keeping his gaze on me.

I thought back to when he said his full name “Alexander Lux Knights”, I recalled.

“And?” He questioned as if he's waiting for me to realize something. My God! I added it together, he's the Alexander Knights, the richest man in the world.

“Mr Knights, I'm very sorry.” I apologized. He's said to be the coldest and most ruthless businessman to grace the planet, he's called the devil by the media and here I am seated beside him.

“You are my girlfriend, about to be my fiance and wife, don't you think Mr Knights is too formal.” He said as he tucked a few strands of hair behind my ear. I closed my eyes and I felt a kiss on my cheek making me open my eyes widely.

He smiled at me slightly and I returned it, “I didn't recognise you.” I told him truthfully. Remembering Felix “ Oh, if we are going back to the hospital, we have to stop by a food outlet to get dinner for Felix. I'm supposed to buy him dinner,” I continued taking my phone from my bag to call him.

He picked up after a few rings, “Sissy, are you on your way? Some doctors are here, they are saying mom will be moved.” Felix's voice said immediately he picked up the phone.

I looked at Alex in surprise, he sure works fast. “Listen, the contract I sent to you, his full name is Alexander Knights, mom is being moved to Knights Hospital for proper treatment.” I explained to him.

“ You mean the same Alexander Knights?” He questioned.

“Yes, we are on our way to the hospital and I forgot to ask you what you want for dinner, what should I get you?” I told him.

“Anything is fine, I know you don't have much on you.” He replied quietly. My siblings are always money conscious because they know it isn't easy to earn, so most times even if they want something they pretend as if it doesn't matter, especially food.

Before I could reply, my phone was collected by Alex, he pressed something on the screen and held it in-between us. “Hi Felix, I'm Alex, your sister's boyfriend. I'm sure you went through the contract thoroughly, so you can order your cravings, money isn't the issue.” He said looking at my phone.

Gasps can be heard on the other side of the line and some scrambling, I'm guessing my brother is flustered Alexander Knights is his idol.

“Good evening sir Knights, it's a pleasure speaking with you.” He replied still in shock.

“The formalities aren't necessary Felix, we are about to be in-laws and if you don't mind I would love to be your brother.” Alex replied to him.

“Brother? I will be honored sir… ehm excuse me Alex I mean.” Felix said, knowing my brother his cheeks will be tinted with pink by now.

“The honor is mine bro, so what should we get you.” Alex asked him.

“I would love anything with barbeque.” Felix replied. We all love barbecues, it's something we eat once a month when dad was alive, he smokes them himself.

“Alright then, something from Zef should do then.” Alex told him, typing away on his phone.

“It’s perfect, thank you. Sissy, Brian just texted he said the twins are asleep, he made them Mac and cheese.” He said, Brian might be a law student but he loves cooking, he says it's more of a hobby so he gets to make meals for the twins everyday.

“Alright, the meal should be delivered in twenty minutes.” Alex said, which Felix replied with an alright and I hung up.

“Thank you for what you did.” I told him honestly, he's taking the load off my shoulder and I will always be grateful for that.

“I told you earlier, whatever belongs to you is mine and vice versa.” He said using his hand to bring mine higher before placing a kiss on the back of my hand.
