There is a saying that a detective never sleeps. And I think, that’s true.
I’m not sure how many hours I have been asleep when the ringing of my cellphone wrenches me awake. I glance at the clock and it shows that it’s already seven in the morning. The fog of sleep slowly lifts me as I answer my ringing phone.
Well, it’s Detective Gallardo who’s calling.
“Good morning, my dearest detective friend,” he said as soon as I answered the call.
“Yeah, yeah. What do have for me?” I asked as I get up and prepare myself.
“Well, I have something for you, ready to copy?” I didn’t answer but I grab a pad and pen that I keep in my side table and start to tak
