BLAIR’S POV
A heavy gasp escaped my mouth as my eyes slowly fluttered open, and I regained consciousness. I looked around, perplexed and disoriented, trying to recall what had just occurred.
My head was pounding with pain. My brain beat against my skull, and blood flowed through my temples.
My ear rang like cicadas on a hot summer night—high-pitched and distorted. Everything was dark at first, and my eyes gradually adjusted to my surroundings.
I noticed I was back in my bedroom, the familiar surroundings comforting me. When I tried to sit up, a sharp pain shot through my head, causing me to groan in agony. My mind flashed back to the werewolf, and I shuddered at the thought. Was it all a nightmare? Or did it actually happen?
I dashed downstairs in search of answers. My aunt was sitting on the couch, smoking a cigarette, and watching television.
"What happened to me?" I asked, my voice shaking.
My aunt sneered as she looked up. "How should I know?" she asked as she blew smoke in my face. "I returned here by myself."
"You're always getting yourself into trouble. You're becoming an increasing burden to me."
I felt a lump in my throat form, and tears welled up in my eyes. My aunt despised me, but hearing it said aloud hurt even more.
"But...I'm confused." "How did I get here?"
My aunt rolled her eyes as she snuffed out her cigarette. "I'm not sure, and I'm not interested." You're probably going insane, like your father. "I don't want anything to do with it."
I felt a wave of hopelessness wash over me. I had always felt like an outsider in my own home, but now it appeared that even my own aunt disliked my presence. I staggered back up to my room, lost and alone.
DEVON’S POV
I lapped at the creek's cool, clear water, my wolf form reflected in the ripples. I couldn't help but wonder if I’d ever see my human form again as I looked at my reflection.
I shook my head, attempting to clear my mind. I couldn't think about such things right now. There were more pressing concerns. The black werewolves were becoming more daring, and I needed to keep a close eye on Blair to ensure her safety.
My voice echoed through the forest as I let out a long, mournful howl. It was a defiant and foreboding cry, a message to the other werewolves that I was still present and watching them.
I felt a sense of freedom and release as I continued to howl. I don’t have to worry about my human responsibilities or the complications of my life in my wolf form. I could just be a wolf running wild through the woods.

My heart was racing as I stood motionless, my eyes darting around in an attempt to see through the forest's darkness. The howl I’d just heard sent shivers up my spine, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was the black-haired werewolf king and his pack on their way to get me.
My hands trembled as I fiddled with the locks on my front door, checking to make sure they were all secure. I then dashed to each window, lowering the blinds and double-checking the locks. I can’t afford to take any chances. I had to ensure my own safety.
I curled up in a corner of my living room, my back against the wall, once I had finished securing my home. I tried to slow my breathing, but my heart continued to race with fear. I couldn't get away from the feeling that something terrible was about to happen.
As I sat in the dark, I couldn't help but wonder how I had ended up in this situation. I had no idea how to stop it.

ALCOT’S POV
I gathered my pack together. My eyes were red with rage. I am the King of the Black Werewolf, and that white-haired wolf keeps getting in my way.
"That white-haired werewolf keeps getting in the way of our plans." "I'm not going to put up with this any longer." My voice was low but very threatening.
The other werewolves agreed, their faces twisted with rage. We have been plotting for years, waiting for the right moment to strike. But every time we tried to make a move, that white werewolf would always appear out of nowhere and thwart us.
"We need to get rid of him," Peter said with so much hatred in his voice. "We can't let him stand in our way anymore."
"There's another reason why we need to get to Blair," I explained. "I have to have her as my mate." "I'll be able to shift into my human form whenever I want after we're married."
The other werewolves exchanged glances, unsure what to say. They knew I was obsessed with the idea of having a human mate, and I don’t care.
"But how will we get her?" Biggy asked. "Aside from the white-haired werewolf who's always watching over her, she's always surrounded by humans." He added.
I narrowed my eyes, my resolve visible. "I will find a way," I finally said. "And I'm not going to stop until she's mine."
"We'll help you, my king," Alex said.
"We'll do whatever it takes." They said it in unison.
My lips curled into a cruel smile, and I nodded. "Good." We'll begin by gathering data. We must be aware of her every move and weakness. "Then we will strike."
"What about the white-haired werewolf?" Raven asked, his voice concerned. "What happens if he attacks us?"
At the mention of that white-haired werewolf, my face twisted with rage.
"If he dares to interfere again, we'll show him no mercy," I snarled. "Even if it means going against one of our most sacred rules." "We'll behead him and put an end to his meddling once and for all."
Killing a white-haired werewolf was strictly forbidden in the werewolf world, and I could sense their fear as they exchanged uneasy glances.
They knew that I was very adamant about getting what I wanted, no matter the cost.
"Understood, my king," Celeb said, his voice slightly trembling.
My eyes twinkled with delight. "Good. Let's get started." They all dispersed, determined to follow my orders and claim their prize.
