The mad KING

Chapter 3: The Quest of Nobility

It was the arriver of the princes from different kingdoms. They were welcomed by a man who represented the king. He said; the king welcome you brave and noble men to this quest. You will camp here, and would be attended to from the palace. The quest begins tomorrow good luck. The princes got all they wanted but unknowing to them the five princess would always come along side the maids to serve them. The mad king fell ill but his illness was not disclosed.

Days past and they (the prince) noticed that they were not doing anything apart from waking up and being attended to by servants. The king would not come to address them. Some grew tired of it and decided to return home saying he is a mad king indeed. It is just one of his tricks. The numbers in the camp became lesser each passing day as princes were returning home. The enemy of the king were still in the camp until they heard that the king was ill so, they hurried away to strategies on how best to attack.

Five noble princes stayed behind and would not go home. They fell in love with the maidens who were the princess unknowing to them. They were brought before the king who was recovering. The king would move around with these five princes. He studied them and he found out that they were noble men indeed especially Gabi from a smallest kingdom. He spoke in wisdom and would always interpret the riddles of the king. They (the 5 princes) started seeing a different picture of the king from the one painted by people.
