The makeover

" Why can't I be pretty and gorgeous?" I asked myself. I'm not pretty or sexy as most guy would put it. I have mid length brownish hair blue eyes. I wear glasses. I don't know how to dress or even how to act remotely girlie. Plus, my parents named me Hope Irene Von Dutch. Ugh people are so mean. I hated me initials from middle school on ward. Thankfully this was my last summer break before senior year which meant I could get into a university and leave this forsaken town with all the dumb cheerleaders. " HOPE ARE YOU READY?!" my mom yelled from downstairs. My mom was taking me to my aunt's house for the summer due to they were both going to be gone and my aunt never had any kids so she always loved to have me on extended visits. Plus, I had allot of summer reading to do before senior year. " Yeah I'm ready." I came down stairs in some comfortably clothes cause the car ride was going to be a couple of hours long. I got into my mom's white jeep and we left to my aunt's. I eventually passed out while my mom was listening to some podcast about something I don't remember all I know is when I woke up I saw we were on the beach where my aunt lives. We pulled up to my aunt's beach house where she lived all year long except winter where she went to the mountains and stayed up there for a few months. I got out and was immediately greeted by my Aunt Lilly. " Oh my gosh Hope you grew up so much since I last saw you." Aunt Lilly said. " Thanks. Wow you look amazing! " I told her she always did. " You remember what room is yours right?"aunt Lilly said I nooded my head yes then I gave my mom a hug goodbye and my aunt waved her off with that we went inside the beach house. " So do you know what our plan is this summer?" My aunt asked. I looked at her confused. " I've been talking to your mom and she gave me the approval and since we allot of time this summer we are going to get you fit also, she made an appointment for you to get your eyes checked along with the braces." My aunt told me I looked at her in disbelief almost surreal that they both been planning this. " So what your saying is that I'm no longer going to be wearing braces?" I asked her. She nooded yes. With that I gave her an amazing smile and hugged her. " Tonight we shall eat because starting tomorrow morning we are going to have my personal trainer come by and give you a work out plan along with a diet. Then later on before summer ends we are taking you shopping." She told me with all of this happening this year I looked at her in shock almost. I went to the room which she called mine and put my stuff away which wasn't much my mom told me to pack light which I always did anyways. Then I went to the living room where my aunt was. " When did my mom and you talk about all of this?" I asked her. " Well she told me what happened the last day of school and she heard you crying all night the next day so we talked and agreed you would come here cause I have summer off due to the season isn't right. Then your dad told me that he was thinking about getting a big gift for your senior year so your mom and I agreed we would do a make over on you. Which of course I agreed cause I used to be in your shoes a long time ago. then I discovered the right foods and the right things to wear. Trust me I grew into my looks in college then after I met my now ex husband." she told me. " Where would you like to eat?" I asked my Aunt. " Hmm there's a new seafood place down the beach I've been wanting to try but I don't eat alone and Henry hates it." She told me. Henry is her boyfriend she's had for over a year now. They were serious but neither one of them wanted to get married. They are happy being with each other as of now. With that we both got ready my aunt told me I had to wear nice clothes so I did my best. " Oh my gosh look at you. You are so pretty hope you know that." She told me. With that notion we got into her car and drove to the seafood place. It was really nice. It had fairy lights all around it and it had a nice atmosphere inside of it. After we got done eating we headed back to her house. I brushed my teeth and went to bed while reading one of the summer books. bing To:hope From: unknown hi. I know you don't know me I'm sorry. To: Hope Ok. ttyl8 gotta do some reading lol To:Billy Same bye. After that I kind of stared at my phone and couldn't place that name anywhere. I eventually went to bed with war and peace open next to me. How stupid are you thinking anyone would go out with you? haha your such a loser. You should just leave town already. I woke up feeling a sense of dread I looked at the clock and it read 1:01am. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't go back so I ended up going to the kitchen to make myself some tea. When I finished making it I went back to bed and opened up my phone and saw I have a message. To: Hope look I know you might not know me but I was in your English class I sat in the back. I play football. To: Billy Wait YOUR that BILLY?! To: Hope Yes.. I'm sorry I really am.. To: Billy Why are you even talking to me then? would that ruine your reputation? To: Hope Kinda but I'm sorry okay? Is there anything I can do to make it up to you? To: Billy no. Stop texting me k? With that I tured off my phone and thought about that day again. Oh my gosh I can't believe how stupid you look. Like girl why are you even attending this party? Don't you know that we don't want you here? Said Billy Billy how did this LoSER find out about this party? Said Mocia Leave this party or I will torment you until we graduate next year got it? said Mocia friend. After that night I went home and I tried to kill myself. My mom found me and she called the ambulance now I'm at my aunt's due to she doesn't trust me home alone.
