The makeover

Chapter 3 : One month down

After allot of early morning workouts and a bunch of text messages to Billy. Maybe some phone calls it was the day I went to the eye doctor I was so excited. I got ready and went downstairs.

" Are you ready? " My aunt asked.

" You know it. I can't wait til I get contacts." I told her happily.

" Good. I'm happy cause after this I'm taking you to the salon." My aunt told me.

" oh my gosh are you for real? My mom said I could?" I asked her.

" Yes technically your mom never cared just that you never asked her." my aunt told me with that we took off and went to the eye place. When they called my name back I was so excited. They took my glasses off of me then they re tested my eyes and said that I was a good candidate for LASIK which of course my mom already paid for in advance. They numbed me up then they pointed a laser down and I had to wear these googles for the day and they gave me eye drops to put in my eyes. In the end though I was happy.

" Oh my gosh Hope you aren't wearing contacts either?" My asked asked.

" Nope. I got LASIK mom paid for it in advance." I told her super excited about it. After we got my prescription from the desk we left towards the salon. My aunt told them what to do. I just sat there and let them have my hair and my nails along with my eyebrows.

" Don't worry Hope after the girls are done with you. You won't recognize yourself." She told me. After what seemed like an eternity in the chair they let me get out of it and leave which I was so happy cause my butt was sore. However I did get done with book number three on the summer list.

We got to her beach house and all I wanted to do was relax after the day I had cause my eyes were sore so I decided to take a nap.

" What do you mean?" My aunt yelled at her phone.

" Really? Then why didn't you tell me you were going to take me there? Fine no it's fine I think my sister is coming next week. Thank you hon. Yes I know. miss you." My aunt said. I woke up from my nap and went to see my aunt.

" Oh good your up. Well my boyfriend is taking me to the hawii next week which means your mom's coming. to get you." My aunt told me.

" But I'm having so much fun with you..." I told her kind of whining.

" I know Hun but trust me it's time plus, we only have two more things to do which are actually scheduled to happen Monday and then the next one on Wednesday then your mom's picking you up on Thursday. I leave on Friday." My aunt told me.

" Okay sounds good." I said. During the time I spent with my Aunt she taught me how to dress and how to act like a woman plus, with all the time I spent on th beach reading and running along it every morning I got bronze skin. After a week later my mom came to pick me up.

" Hope your mom is here!" My aunt called for me. I finished packing up my things in my suit case that my aunt got me due to I got allot more things that wouldn't fit into my bag.

" Trust me Christina she looks amazing we did good." I over heard my aunt saying.

" I can't wait to see my daughter Lilly. I know you are amazing. She loves hanging out with you and I know you did wonders on her self esteem." My mom told my aunt.

" Hi mom!" I said. When I said that my mom turned around. When she saw me she almost cried.

" Oh my gosh Hope is that really you?" She asked.

" Last I checked I'm Your daughter mom" I told her.

" Wow Hun you look so different." My mom said.

" Come on mom let's go. Thank you so much Aunt Lilly. I don't know where I would be with out you" I told my aunt.

" Oh Hun it's no problem oh yeah don't forget these." My aunt said handing me papers from Shelby along with a bag of vitamins and some other stuff that I have to put in my smoothies.

" Oh my gosh I can't believe I almost forgot." I told her and gave her a quick hug. Then my mom and I were off back home to the same town that I wanted to leave that made my life miserable. Well I guess since I still have a month left before school starts no one has to know I changed.

When we pulled into the driveway I noticed Dad wasn't home yet which wasn't abnormal or anything he wasn't always around due to his job. I went to my room and put all my old clothes on my bed then I hung up all my new ones. I then took out all of my old clothes from my dresser And put them on my bed as well and put the dresser things in my dresser.

Now what to do with my old clothes? I stood there with a hand on my hip then I thought of it. I'm going to have to go into town to get school supplies so how about I wear my old wardrobe until then. I of course had my old glasses I could take out the lens and as for the teeth. hmm how about I just don't smile much. that should work considering no one really paid attention to me in the first place. As for my work outs I could easily do them at my house in the gym my dad uses when he's home of course.

If I go out I could throw my hair up in a ponytail and cover it with a do rag and tell people I'm cleaning. that should work.
