"Open the gate!" I scream loudly at a guard.

"Baby, who is she?" Daniel asked walking up beside me.

"My best friend, Kellie." I said, barely acknowledging him.

Kellie looked weaker than her normal spunky self, with obvious old wounds littered along her body.

"Kellie, are you okay? What happened to you? How did you find me?" I rushed out all at once.

Taking Kellie's face into my hands, I turn it side to side, looking over her injuries. She has a black eye, busted lip, and it looks like she took a hit to the head.

"Can we talk at your packhouse Mels? We need to get out of the open." Kellie says hesitantly, looking around suspiciously.

"How....how did you know what I am?" I ask her warily.

"Can we PLEASE talk at your packhouse?" Kellies asks with greater emphasis, irritation laced in her tone.

Daniel called for a car to take us back to the packhouse. The drive was short and quiet. Kellie calmed down in the car, somehow she fell asleep on my shoulder in the short five minute drive. Gamma Ben was waiting at the front steps when we pulled into the driveway.

"Kellie, wake up, we are at the packhouse now." I said gently shaking her. She yawns, stretching her arms.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep, I just haven't slept since Friday night. This was the first time I have felt comfortable enough to close my eyes since." Kellie tell us while rubbing her eyes.

I nod slightly, I will wait for the whole story once inside. Daniel opens the car door for me, Kellie climbing out behind me. When Kellie stepped out of the car, she was immediately swept off her feet by Ben.

"Mate"

Ben and Kellie exclaim at the same time. Ben is holding her in his arms tightly, her feet lifted off the ground. Kellie's arms are thrown around his shoulders. Daniel and I turn to look at eachother with wide, surprised eyes.

"Ben!" Daniel shouts in his Alpha tone.

Ben puts Kellie back down carefully, his right arm remaining around her waist. He bows his head to Daniel in a show of submission.

"Sorry Alpha." Bens said.

"Kellie, what is a Amor Eterno?" I question her.

"I will be glad to explain everything when we get to a more private location." Kellie said surveying our surroundings.

As we climb the stairs to the second floor where the conference room is located, I hear Kelly let out a tiny whimper. With no hesitation Ben swoops her into his arm's, bridal style, carrying her the rest of the way. I smile for my friend, they are cute together. Once in the conference room, Micheal and Kim join us and I quickly do initial introductions.

"Kellie, will you please explain what is going on, and how you found our pack?" Daniel is the first to address the elephant in the room. Kellie takes a long, deep breath before explaining how she got in to such a state.

"First, I have something to confess to Melody. I'm sorry, I have not been completely honest with you. I have known you are a high-ranking werewolf since we met. Sensing supernatural beings aura's is one of the powers witches possess. More specifically I am a light witch. I didn't tell you because I was in hiding and didn't know who to trust. However, when I was discovered, I knew you were the only one I could trust to help me. I really am sorry I never told you the truth."

I knew by her tone that Kellie was truly apologetic, but I didn't feel she had a reason to apologize. I had kept my ture identity a secret too.

"Kellie, you have no reason to apologize. I never told you I was a werewolf. You might have known, but that wasn't because I was honest with you." I confess to her.

"Thanks Mels." She said, holding my hand.

Kellie glimpsed around the table, taking another deep breath before continuing.

"My mother is a light witch, my father a dark wizard. As my mother tells it, she and my father met when he was reformed from his coven. He made her believe he didn't agree with their morals and broke free. Only it was a trick. His real goal was to have a child with light powers that he could easily manipulate. Light powers being of greater strength than dark. I was born a twin, my older twin having dark powers. She attacked me a year ago and I defended myself. My father, which is on his coven's council, sided with her. He hates me because I dont bend to his every demand. I was sentenced to death for attacking my sister. However, before my execution, my mother helped me escape. I've been living among humans, under a cloaking spell since, moving every few months to avoid being captured. I was found Saturday by two of my father's lackey's."

Ben let's out a low growl. His anger for the men who hurt his mate bubbling to the surface. She lets go of my hand, grabbing both of his hands into hers. The touch calming his wolf.

"I remembered seeing a letter from Melody's parents on her desk a few weeks ago, I went to her apartment and found the return address. I drove part of the way here, going in different directions erratically to avoid being tracked. Running out of gas in Virginia, I walked and hitchhiked the rest of the way here. I asked for Melody at the gate, but the guards called your Alpha." Kellie finished, glancing at Daniel.

"He's actually my mate, I found out Sunday. Speaking of which, when you saw Ben you called him something? Do witches have mates like werewolves?" I asked her, gazing between the two.

"We have a Amor Eterno, meaning Eternal Love in latin. Witch's don't sense our Amor Eterno by smell like werewolves, we won't know who our love is until we touch them. The sparks and tingles indicate the bond." Kellie said while lovingly looking at Ben.

"How did you think Melody could help hide you?" Kim asked, studying Kellie closely.

"I was hoping her pack, or Issac's, would allow me to live with them for a couple months in exchange for me using my powers to help protect and strengthen their pack. My father's lackey's would never suspect me living among werewolves. He is not a fan." Kim seemed to be satisfied with her answer, because she nodded without asking anymore questions.

"Kellie, since you are mated to my Gamma, you are welcome to stay in our pack as long as you wish. If you want to become a member, discuss it with Ben, then we will set up a ceremony. Of course this means any protection you need, will be provided. I will not allow one of my ranked members, and best friends, mate be killed or captured under my watch." Daniel addresses Kellie formally.

"Thank you Alpha." Ben tells Daniel genuinely.

"I think everyone could use time to process all of this new information. Kellie, I'm sure you would appreciate a shower and a nap, I will also call a doctor to come attend to your wounds. You can go with either Ben, he lives here at the packhouse, or I'm sure Melody's parents wouldn't mind you staying with them. Whichever would make you more comfortable, I'm sure Ben will be okay with." Daniel said looking directly at Kellie, then giving Ben a knowing stare.

She turned to Ben, looking at him deeply, then turning her head back to glance at me.

"I would like to stay with Ben."

Kellie doesn't say another word, she just hugs me before standing up. Ben takes her hand leading her out of the conference room.

"Micheal we need to step-up training." Daniel tells Micheal after the conference room door's closed.

"You think they will attack?" Micheal asked.

"I have no doubt they will."
