After Ben took Kellie to his floor, Daniel and Micheal stayed to talk about stepping up training. Kim went to check on Mallory, so I decided to make Kellie something to eat before she went to sleep. I mindlinked Ben, letting him know I would bring her some lunch up in about 30 minutes.
There was some leftover chicken in the refrigerator, so I made her and Ben chicken quesadillas with sour cream and salsa on the side. After plating the meal and grabbing a few bottles of water, I carried everything up to Ben's floor. Ben answered the door to his apartment.
"Thank you for cooking for her. She's still in the bath." Ben said, letting me in and showing me to his living room.
"I would do anything to help her." I told him, placing the tray on a coffee table. He smiles at me in response.
"Do you mind if I go check on her?" I asked Ben.
"Not at all, down the hallway, last door to the left." Ben said as he sat down on his couch.
"I made chicken quesadillas. There is enough for you too." I told me before walking down the hall.
"Thank you." He yells back.
Knocking on the door Ben directed me to, Kellie didn't answer. I opened the door and could still hear the shower going. Taking a seat I took in Ben's room. It was masculine and decorated modernly, with dark blue walls it adorned grey and sliver accents.
Hearing the shower turn off, Kellie opened the bathroom door a little while later. She stepped out wearing one of what I assume to be Ben's t-shirts.
"I packed what I could in a hurry, but I left everything behind when my car broke down. Ben said he would send some warriors to find my stuff." Kellie said.
"I have some new underwear I haven't worn yet, I'll mindlink Kim and ask her to get a pair for you." I told her, mindlinking Kim after. She was luckily at my parents, dropping Mallory off for my mom to babysit.
"What did the doctor say?" I asked Kellie.
"I have a concussion, so someone needs to wake me up every few hours and check on me. Otherwise, I just have to take it easy. The rest of the wounds are superficial." Kellie said, taking a seat on Ben's bed. I nod my head.
"I made you chicken quesadillas. They are in the living room." I told her.
"Yum, I'm starved!" Kellie shouts, jumping up.
Just then, there was a knock on the bedroom door. Kellie walks over quickly, throwing the door open.
"Hey, I brought the goods." Kim said, holding up a bag. Kellie stepped to the side, allowing Kim to come in.
"I brought the underwear, and I thought you might need clothes too. You look about my size, so there are a pair sweatpants, a long sleeve t-shirt, a hair brush, and a toothbrush." Kim said, handing the bag of items to Kellie.
"Thank you so much!" Kellie said, looking in the bag. I stood up making my way over to Kellie and Kim.
"Thank you Kim." I said giving her a hug.
"We're going to give you space to change, eat and sleep. I'll come by later to check on you." I told Kellie as I gave her a gentle hug.
Walking back to my parents house. I called Issac and told him Kellie had shown up here, but didn't tell him about her being a witch. He asked if he could come here to visit her tonight and stay till tomorrow. Tomorrow being the day before Christmas Eve, he knew he wouldn't be able to visit for another few days if not. Issac also asked to bring his older sister.
I mindlinked Daniel to get permission, he said yes, under the condition that Issac and Katelyn stay in the guest rooms of the pack house for the night. Micheal told me Daniel wasn't happy when he was told that Issac slept in my bed the first night I was home. I had only met Katelyn once, but she was very outgoing and funny.
UNKNOWN POV:
"Boss, the werewolf we have been watching is on the move. We have already been following him for 30 minutes. He is getting on the highway, should we continue to follow?" I said to my boss over the cell phone.
"Yes, track him wherever he goes. Do not lose him. I want to know if he leads us to the girl." The male voice on the other end of the phone said.
"Yes Boss." I said, hanging up and continuing to follow the werewolf and she-wolf down the highway.
We stay several car lengths back, changing lanes at some points to avoid being detected. My associate and I had snuck a GPS tracking device on their car when they stopped at a convenience store. The device making it easier to track them without being detected. 2 more hours later we tracked them to another werewolf pack in South Carolina.
We ditched our car and covered our scents, walking to the border to investigate the pack. They had pretty tight security, but we were able to sneak through. This isn't the first werewolf pack that we have snuck into.
Watching from the shadows of the woods, we got lucky that night. Seeing the male werewolf we had been watching walking with the she-wolf we have been searching for. We snuck back out of the pack grounds. Crossing the border was harder after dark, they had more patrol officers watching the border now than earlier. When we got back to the car I called the boss letting him know we found the target.
"Good, I'll get that b***h. No she-wolf w***e brakes my nose and gets away with it. I'll be down there late tomorrow, we will plan the attack then. Until I get there, do recon, I want as much information about her as possible." The boss said, then laughing like a manic.
