The Apogian War

When suddenly Clover looked up the sky and said "what are those up there " he began, and looked inquisitefully at the sky and said "is there any building construction that we need not know about"he said, as both Darkovan and Peseidon looked up, Peseidon shouted over to Darkovan and said "we are been ambushed"he said on top of his voice Darkovan looked up and behold the red fire demons of Ausburn coming into veiw.

Darkovan floated up suddenly in mid-air and both Clover and Peseidon where wisdom struck by the whole view and event"l-l-lord darkovan" Clover said unsteadily knowing fully well that Darkovan could not hear him because he was already on level with the fire demons, on on his foot were dark clouds that made him float in mid-air.

"Lord Ausburn,it's been so long that I can hardly forget the faces of these demons of yours"Darkovan said airily to one of the hundreds of the fire demons,then suddenly one of the fire demons spoke, and at the same time there was a loud thud (Clover had fallen from his horse unconscious),

"I see you are always moving with the plebes of your great army the demon spoke in a human voice,and I can't tell if it's you standing there or one of your walking dea,,,"before the fire demon could finish the statement there was a black mist and with the word"mischief"from Darkovan, the darkmist blew away every one of the fire beasts except the one which spoke as it drifted slowly away by the black mist "consider this a fair warning from an old friend", then darkovan said "surely I might."

CHAPTER THREE

To Darkovan's great surprise Peseidon was still well mounted on his horse or so he thought,as he floated back down, Peseidon said "w,what w,was t,that and what are you,in a rather shakened voice,are you t,the legendary 'Dark-Apogee ruler of the seventh domain of Vandartha, don't tell me that all this while a've been, w, with!! or do my eyes deceive me!!?

"You see no fairy tale, Peseidon,I am who ye say I am"

That been said Darkovan rose Clover slowly from the ground supported only by the dark mist he saw earlier but now in a more closer manner, Darkovan made a swift sharp s***h with his sword on the horse mane as the dark clouds dropped clover with a soft thud on the horses back, then the clouds made its way slowly into the opening on the neck of the horse that Darkovan had slashed open,

With no rider, whosoever, the dead horse moved freely on its own at Darkovan's curse and command, Peseidon knew he was going to pass out,he could tell by the darkness eating slowly at the edge of his eye, so strong he couldn't resist, Peseidon gave an audible gasp and fell head faced on his horse.

Darkovan repeated the same act he did to Clover and his horse,to Peseidon and then said "surely ye do not falter plebe's of my great army" he then rode off followed by the two other walking dead horses,which set off in a canter.

Darkovan arrived very late that night at a pub house, that was on the way to the great domain of Hardias the third (the earth Apogee), filled with exhaustion as he had to used he's power non stop to prevent Clover and Peseidon from falling off their horses on the way, he walked into the pub many heads turned, as the door creaked open.

A young gentleman beside him said "surely you are Lord Darkovan of the Darkovan's domain!?."No,no,no I've heard that one quite a lot of time, Darkovan answered, people usually call me the twin brother to 'lord Darkovan',"he sure looks like him a lot" another man said, a huge looking man stood up from his table and said with a loud husky voice "surely you all are dumb-headed, you don't expect the lord of a domain to show up in a pub like this wearing rags!" he said indicating at Darkovan's disguised clothing,there was a huge uproar of laughter from the other drunks, as some of them even started throwing up on the floor of the pub, 'if clover were here he won't still be standing, Darkovan thought.

Darkovan walked majestically, straight for the counter at the pub,and caught the young lady smiling at him as he came slowly for her,

"Good day sir" the young miss said smiling with a low sweet voice "good day miss Darkovan replied back at her but not with the type of response she had expected, "what can I do for you" she continued, smiling at him "I would like to occupy a room for just one night"

'How many persons" she asked, following her curiosity rather than normal protocols expecting his answer to be a simple just one, but to her greatest dismay he said "we are a company of three", she stopped smiling abruptly and returned back to her normal business like self,

"that would be three golds and one silver coin' she said briskly adding an additional silver to the normal three gold price, thinking he had a lover and a child,'so cost, Darkovan thought, when it was only about a gold coin and two silvers, back in Darkovan that was when he recalled that he was now in Hardias domain, or rather the earth domain where there was said to be very little or no gold reserve compared to the Golden domain where it's mines where filled with gold beyond measurable count.

Darkovan droped the money on the counter as she went ahead to show him the room, when she asked "where are your companions" she said, expecting him to say something like they where outside waiting or something he said "oh my brothers are outside saddling and watering the horses" he lied her smile immediately resurfaced 'maybe I still have a chance, she thought and giggled silently as she handed over the keys to Darkovan.

As he walked into the room he could see almost immediately that the beds were unkept and the floors where vere untidy, the room was dimly lit by the moon light and a few candles that hanged on the wall pavements, and the beds were a well three by three foot Incheons bed,he looked over at the window where he could see the small stream flowing at the back of the pub which he sited earlier arriving and used for his excuse, he could also see little fishes jumping side ways up and down the stream, going against the current of the rivers flow.
