Capter 3: The preparations

Elisabeth POV:

In the morning I got ready to start my day. My routine is very boring i do the same thing over and over. There's no break from all of it everyday is the same. I make breakfast, do the laundry, make lunch, clean the packhouse and do groceries. Then most of the time I do some accountancy for the alpha. He is to lazy to do it him self or to stupid my wolf said. I rolled my eyes at her comment. After that I do some reading and training secretly, make dinner and get beaten and then go to bed or I fix myself first. No rest, no proper healing and no break from the beatings. That's how my days look like but this morning i didn't know it was about to change. I thought about what happened last night and what the alpha said that no one can touch me for a week. Everybody was looking angry at me. If it's my fault that they can't beat me for a week. You know you are their favorite toy so yeah they are angry. You are taken away from them, my wolf said. If I didn't know that it was clearly why they were angry at me. But I was happy that I had some kind of a break from my routine. Maybe I will finely heal up and save up some energy. I have to think about some sort of a plan to escape. They are all busy with the party and maybe they are too distracted to notice that I am gone. And when they notice I am far gone and they can't trace me to where I go because I can hide my scent. 

I make breakfast as always when beta lucas walks into the kitchen. " After you served breakfast and cleaned up everything from breakfast the alpha expected to see you in his office. He said also you can have a plate of food you can make it yourself when everybody is done eating. You can have a little bit of everything and a glass of orange juice. That was it bye" and he walked away before I could answer him. My wolf rolled her eyes to him. He couldn't wait for an answer. We are not that bad we can speaking. I smiled at her comment she was right, we can speak and they choose not to listen to us. I was nervous what did the alpha want to talk about? Was it bad would I be locked up in the dungeons or would I get a beating by himself? Or are they finally done with me and they decide to kill me. Don't worry you will be fine, my wolf said. If you end up in the dungeons you get a break from your routine and you get some rest look at the bright side. And if they kill you, you can fight back. We are strong, we can fight. At least she tried to cheer me up. It was better than nothing. When the pack members were done I prepared my breakfast and ate it in the kitchen. When I am done I clean the dinner room and do the dishes. The kitchen was already clean. I did that when they had their breakfast so I could distract myself. It was time to go to see the alpha in his office i dreaded that moment. I knocked at the office door "come in" was all he said. I walked in the office not once when he looked up from his work. "Hello alpha you wanted to see me?" I said. I automatically looked down in a submissive position. He looked up from his work and looked at me as if I was an alien. " O jes lantern I wanted to talk to you. I want you to make dinner at the party. You make some amuses for when the guests arrive and you also make snacks for the party and dinner. Your budget is 2000 and better you don't exceed that or else" he said. "Why do you want me to kook for the guest and why don't you hire a caterer who can cook better than me" I said. The alpha looked at me angry " YOU DOUBT YOUR ALPHA '' he yelled at me. "N.n.no alpha i am sorry". "You better be as today you only work in the kitchen. I will taste everything you make at that party and I personally approve everything that's an order. Everyday I want to taste something else. You can search for yourself what you want to make but it has to be fancy. We can't afford to look poor" the alpha said. "Yes alpha can I borrow the ipad so I can look up some recipes and can I also have some paper and a pencil to write down the recepties? Then I will begin tomorrow" I said. "Yes here you go, you will look up recipes today and at the end of today i want some sort of plan form you. The day before and on the day itself you get some help. Waiters will serve the food at the party and you will be only in the kitchen. I don't want to see you at the party understood"? I nod my head at him. " you are dismissed, get out of my office now". And with that I walk away. Why would he want to make me dinner. Maybe we are poor and he threw the money away. You know he likes to spend the money that the pack has on useless things like flashy cars. I know that but the pack complains everyday that my cooking skills are not good so why. Maybe you are good and they like to complain or he wants you out of his way. You are stuck all day in the kitchen but YOU are stuck in the kitchen all day. Maybe we can sneak some food to eat and gain more energy. That is great news we love the kitchen and we don't see the pack members all day. It's like a vacation my wolf said. I laugh at her she is right, it is like a vacation and it wasn't that bad. 

That week all I did was cook and look up some recipes. Everyday I make something new for the alpha and the pack members. Most of my recipes he approves and some not. I had made a plan and he was okay with it. I made all sorts of things: stuffed eggs, salmon rolls, deer steak and lots of desserts and candy. The dinner I would be making for the guest is for a starter Salmon tartare with fried capers and dill mayo. For the mean course Beef bavette with tarragon gravy and a variation of champions and saffron potatoes. And for dessert cheesecake mousse with salted caramel popcorn. For the party I will make a snack table with lots of candy, desserts and snacks. When the guest arrives they will be served with some amuses for the hungry wolves. The day before the party I did all the groceries. I had someone with me to help me carry the groceries. Ge was appointed by the alpha and he didn't like it at all. He didn't speak with me or looked at me. When we came back to the pack house he threw everything in the kitchen and immediately ran away. In the afternoon two she-wolfs came to help with the preparations. They listened to me about what to do but didn't really speak to me only to each other. The day went by slowly but I was very busy with the preparations for the dinner. In the evening I finalise my plan to escape. I will take only a backpack with two sets of clothing if you can call them that, a bottle of water and some food I stole from the kitchen. At night around 1 pm I will go then is the chance of guard and the rest of the pack is still drunk or at the party. I will run East to my formar pack lands. I will be safe there and can build a life for myself. I hope my plan succeeds and I will be free, no more beatings and no more threats.
