Alpha's Secret

1269 Words
Luna Margaret looked up frightened, right as her husband barged in the room with what looked to be a rogue, chained by his hands and feet, like a prisoner, and being brought to one of the cells, encased behind the torture room. She knows she is caught, and tries her best to be calm. In comes her mate, as a surprise as he was supposed to be attending a pack meeting today. "Margaret, what the hell are you doing to this girl?! Have you been doing this behind my back this entire time? What is wrong with you woman? Do you know what can happen if anyone finds out what you're doing, to your own servant at that?! What if any word gets back to the King! It only takes one person to see, and you're lucky it was I who walked in, and not someone else. I just can't believe what I'm seeing right now!" Alpha Christian shouted at his mate. He didn't know any of this was going on, right under his nose. "Chris, she spit in Emile's food! Our son could have gotten sick or worse, catch a disease from this monstrosity!" Margaret tried to justify. "And you, Emile, what are you thinking? She is a woman, you were not raised to be this way, especially as the next Alpha in line. What if your mate or any of the other pack members find out that you have no care to torture a woman? Do you really believe she spit in your food? How would you know that anyway? Despicable." Christian was fuming. He walked away without another word, and took the rogue to a cell, but he wasn't done yet, before he had another chance to say anything, a manly laugh broke out in front of us "If only you derogatory people knew what you were in for, the legend will make it's way, and when it does, you won't be so apt to be so careless." the rogue spewed, while still laughing and spitting the blood from his lips, but Christian had enough of his nonsense, and took his hand to cover his mouth. Christian knows what will happen if this gets out, he could lose his title, and his pack, along with everything else he has worked so hard for. Alpha Christian wasn't handed his title, he had to challenge his own cruel father for his spot, and that's because he couldn't take the abuse his father put onto his pack any longer, and he will be damned before he has to start back at square one and lose what he has achieved, and very well could have lost his life over. Luna Margaret doesn't feel guilty at all, because she only has one use for the girl. Once she turns 18 and gains her wolf and powers, she plans to take all of her abilities and become the leader of this whole realm. Werewolves, witches, sorcerers and vampires alike, will have no choice but to abide by her, and she knows then she won't have to keep such a secret anymore. "There's no way this can get out Christian, we will lose it all, and I know you would never let that happen!" Luna Margaret says in joy, because her mate has no choice but to keep this a secret. Here in the realm, mates are looked at as equals, and whatever one does, they both will suffer the consequences. "You dont think I know this? As I said, if anyone finds out we're dead meat. I love you too much and as far as we have come, there's no way I can let anyone find out. Just promise me you won't be so careless! I can only trust what you're doing and hope that something good comes from this, or else I would have to end you myself, and I don't want to have to do that." Christian hesitantly stated when he walked back into the room. He never expected the woman in front of him to be violent. "So what's up with the rogue, we haven't had one of those on our grounds in a few years." Luna Margaret says to change the subject, as her curiosity is peaked. The last time they had rogues on their territory was because they were trying to get to Sasha, thinking she had the beautiful yellow stone she talked so much about, even went as far as waging war with the King and Queen to try and confiscate it, her plan just didn't work out the way it was supposed to. "He says his name is Damien, and that he has been given the task to watch us, as we have something that we have no idea about. He told me that we would find out soon enough, but its all just blubberish. He has no idea what he is ranting on about." *Karielle* Once I was able to open my eyes and the pain calmed down a bit, I tried to listen to the Alpha and Luna's conversation, but the main thing I heard was someone saying something about a legend, and I can't help but think back to a time where I've heard something about this. Emile sat there quietly, apparently feeling guilty that his father walked in on what he and his mother were doing, but I know he didn't feel ashamed. Deep down, he is a monster just like his mother, and nothing can change that. I heard the Alpha mention a rogue coming onto the territory, which I know has been rare. Rogues don't normally venture onto ones property unless given a reason to, so I know there's definitely more to the story than they were told. I tried to open my eyes to see, but my eyes were so heavy it because a daunting task and I gave up, it wasn't happening. Once I get back to normal, I'll have to check into it and find out what the hell is really going on, but first, I have to get away from these lunatics. I know that's gonna be impossible, as Luna and Emile have eyes on me 24/7. I will find a way, this legend he speaks of, somehow I feel like it may have something to do with me. Why else would rogues be randomly appearing on the territory while I'm here? I don't think it's a coincidence. Alpha Christian unlocks my chains, and I fall to the floor with a thud. I just lay there, as my body was too weak to move. The Luna will have to get her son to carry me to my room, which isn't but the same small closet. They made sure to give me the worst accommodations, as the Luna makes sure I know I'm only here for one purpose, a purpose I have no idea about. I hear the Alpha leave the room, but before he does, he tells his mate and his son that they had better clean this up and leave no trace of what just happened. He has no idea this happens daily, he's always so busy with his pack duties that these monsters can get away with whatever they want. I can't wait until the day that I can be rescued from here, even though I know it's just a distant dream I keep reassuring myself of. Once he laid me on my thin dirty blanket on the floor of the closet, my eyes already closed and heavy. Before I know it, Darkness takes over me and I fall into a dream-filled sleep.
