Over The Weeks To Come

The one person that followed her was nonother than the soon-to-be alpha, of the Sanguis pack Gunner. The issue was he was in the form of his wolf Spike. The last time we had a run-in with his pack his mother was still pregnant with him and she still fought me anyway because she shifted into her wolf Aspen. Now that he is all grown up and at the right age to have a mate. It has been told that he met his mate and upon seeing her rejected her and I am beginning to think we just found out why. He had a death glare on his face and looking right at me.

Then he turns his glares at Anthony and started to shift back to his human form but as he did we could hear a faint buzzing noise. After he was done shifting back I asked " what is going on and why he was doing this and what would make him think how he was going to get away with doing this." My answer came in the way of a text message from William and the recon team they were letting me know that they had found the rest of the Sanguis pack and what they were doing with everything that had been taken from the boutique. If they weren’t wearing the clothes or trying to wear them they were tearing the clothes to shreds. They had some of the new manuscripts that we had just received and were throwing them it to a big fire they had built.

The next morning William and I got up and went to the publishing agency for a meeting with a writer about her new book untitled Shall We go to The Shadow World. Luckily I had read the manuscript before the Sanguis pack stole it and burned it and thank the goddess that the author had brought another copy for each of us. Then after the meeting in which we signed the book, we had a board meeting to discuss the different issues that have been coming up. One of the board members tries to say that William and I have been putting off our work and trying to say that we should just hand over the responsibility of the agency to him and his mate. This so called board member I couldn’t recall him or his mate being at any other meetings.

As soon as we heard this I looked at each one of the board members and told them that I had just given birth a few months ago and we opened a new business that I have been overseeing. William just sat there watching me put them in their place and I was glad he did not say any thing to them. In my head I think that I should be able to give my attention to all of my jobs when they are all ones that I love doing and that I am really good at. I told both of them that I didn’t think they were even employed with us and called for my assistant Marybeth. They interrupted me saying that he wasn’t actually employed with us that he just wanted everything we have. I then remembered who they were the alpha and Luna of the Sanguis pack. I should have recognized the Luna she and I went to school together. Her name is Athena his name is Robb. They were the popular ones.

The board members all looked at one another and gave each other a nod saying that it was time for a vote they would vote to keep William and me even though it is a business that we started or give it to Robb and his mate who was not present and our law states that if someone wants to take over something they must have their mate or potential mate present so I immediately know that the vote is in our favor. It took about 30 minutes for the vote to be over in favor of William and me. Out of the 30 people on the board only one voted for Robb his name was Anton.

After that meeting, Anton and Robb were fired and made to clean out their offices, and escorted out of the building. I look at William and said you know he is going to want revenge on us for today and the disappointment he got dealt. I looked at the board members and said "I have to get to the boutique to make sure everything with the cleanup and repairs are going the way they should unless they have something to report for the minutes." Everyone was all looking around for anyone to have something to report but none spoke up. William had to go to the recording studio and the graphics design studio and check on things there and assist in any way. Back at the house, we were getting ready for the 4 older boys' birthday. They are 17 and 18 years old today. Their favorite colors are green, red, orange, and blue so those are the colors that we are going to decorate the house and everything. We enlist everyone from the pack members to help and they all join in after I give all the groups their assignments and tell everyone that the boys, William and I will be around to check how everything is looking.

About two hours later the 4 boys, William, and I walked around the house and the surrounding buildings and everything looked amazing. The packhouse had crape paper on everything that was standing still; it was a mix of their colors. It was great and everyone got it done so quickly. This is a milestone for the boys. They will have their first chance tonight when the moon is full. Although I am not their biological mother I am still worried about Mathew and Harley when they go through the change and how they will turn out and what their wolves will look like.

We had planned to start the party at around 2 or 3 p.m. the party started right on time and the children had so much fun. We played games, had cake and ice cream they opened presents and got all kinds of clothes and stuff that they can use. Mathew and Harley even got some stuff from their biological parents that they had saved for this birthday. At the stroke of 12a.m. the whole pack went out to the backyard and William and I and the rest of the pack helped all the young with their first shift. After they shift for the first time they can go on a run and get to know their inner wolf.

They need to see how they move like a wolf and their wolf's names and what color he or she is. Anthony was the first to shift his wolf was an all-white wolf with blue eyes. His wolf's name was Adalwolf. Mathew was the next to shift his wolf was an all-black wolf with dark brown eyes. His wolf's name was Skoll. James was the third to shift his wolf was an all-gray wolf with blue eyes. His wolf's name was Lowe. Harley was the last to shift. His wolf was black and had dark brown eyes just like his brother. His wolf's name was Tala. A few other young wolves also made the change and while they were all on their run, getting to know their wolves and listening to them getting to know how they move while they are in their wolf form. They were told to stay within the area by the lake right in the middle of the woods. When they came back about twenty minutes later I asked the children how it was and they said in unison it was the best thing they had ever done in their life. The girls will shift the next month again on the full moon.

When they got back from their run I asked them if they were tired because most of them were rubbing their eyes when a young wolf shifts they can and will usually be worn out for the first few times till they get used to the transformation. They all said that they were (that included our two). We took the children to get something to eat then by that time it would be time to go to bed and the rest of the pack did the same with their young wolves. William and I tell the four boys that they have made us a very proud mommy and daddy and aunt and uncle (Mathew and Harley.) and that we love them. We help the boys to bed. We then go to the girl's room and tell them that we love them and we are very proud of them and I then tell William that I can't wait till the shifting ceremonies are done as far as it goes with our pups. He agrees with me because it is very stressful for the pups and the parents as well.

The next day we were woken up at 5:15 am to our warrior's mind linking us about Robb and his mate being back and what we wanted to be done with them. I tell some of the guards to do a patrol and see if they have anyone with them or not and they reported they were alone but wanted to talk to us as well as Mathew and Harley. I told William that we needed to get them up to find out what was going on. I had a bad feeling that this was not going to be a good situation.
