Over The Weeks To Come Part 2

Before we could get to them our head warrior Josh and another warrior named Bobby had them on the ground. Harley recognized them and told us to stop and not hurt them before he got a chance to talk with them. I asked how he knew them and he said that they were his and Mathew's aunt and uncle; they would have been the next Alpha and Luna, if his mom and dad hadn't taken over. I could do nothing but look at the two young boys and the two adults who stood next to them to figure out how they were related because Robb, Athena, William and I grew up together.

Then it hit me like a ton of bricks when we were younger and went to our first mating ritual and ceremony they met and realized they were mates and she moved to his pack from the Crimson Fangs Pack and that was about 20 years ago. They had only one son that I knew of because I saw Gunner two days before. Robb was from the Sanguis pack when we were growing up. He was the Alpha and Luna’s son. I told the warriors to let the pair of them go and watch them for a moment William and I needed to talk to the boys about the situation going on. William and I took them into the house and explained to them why their uncle was no longer allowed within the territory.

We had run-ins with them before and they were always challenging us for what we had because we were able to start businesses and keep them going as well as all the other stuff that shouldn't be withheld from them. The two of them looked at Willam and me and when we got back out to the yard they asked if they would be able to talk to them and find out what was going on. I told them that would be ok to do and that if they wanted to ask them why don't go ask them about it. They agreed so the four of us walked back outside and the boys looked at Robb and his Athena and asked "why do you want to try to take over this pack and everything that came with it." Mathew and Harley asked both of them.

Robb even had the gall to say that it was us that killed his mate's pack and took over the pack and made it hell for her even though she wasn't there. Mathew and Harley asked them what pack she was originally from. Athena said that she was from the Crimson Fangs Pack despite Robb not wanting her to talk. The only thing is the Crimson Fangs Pack were not slaughtered they were alive and well we trade with them from time to time. Robb said that every time she wrote to her pack to see if she could visit with her mom and dad we had told the guards to take the letters and throw them away. The two boys looked at us and told them that couldn't be true because that pack is on the other side of the state. I had some of our warriors go to their camp and had their stuff searched while they were searching they found the letters in their stuff.

I looked at him and held up my hand and a warrior stepped forward with the letters in hand and Mathew and Harley looked at the letters and then looked at Robb and his mate and then looked at William and me and said that it was their mom and dad that attacked the Night Howl Pack, not the Blue Rose Moon Pack so there should be no conflict with us and then the mate told them that it was William and I that did it and the warrior held the truth in his hand that they had the letters the whole time. Well, that was my queue. I looked at her and told her that I had ordered their stuff searched before they were escorted off the property the other day and that is when we found the letters in Robb's stuff under the bed in their room.

He was on the verge of shifting when she turned to him and asked him if that was true and if so, she would reject him as her mate and then go on being a rogue just like her brother and sister-in-law. He told her that it wasn't that we were just trying to turn her against him and she said I don't think so that she thought he had done it and that Andenarras and Akreera were in on it with him without her knowing it she told him that she had overheard the three of them talking about taking all of the different alphas and lunas for all the packs and being the kings and queen of the whole state of Arizona. Finally, after about an hour and the warriors' persuasion at her request, he gave up the truth that it was their idea to take over all of the packs to rule them as one, and then after they stepped down he and she would be Alpha and Luna of all of the packs. She looked at William and me and said “do with him what you will and she didn't care what happened to him” even though I knew that it would, especially after she rejected him it was going to hurt her and him and since they had been together so long and had Gunner that was going to make breaking the bond that much more painful for both of them and then she looked at him and told him that she rejected him and he accepted. so we asked the boys what they wanted to be done with him. Harley was the one to speak up and tell me that he wanted him executed for what he did to us and his aunt and that we were family now and the best ones. I gave the signal and he was beheaded. Mathew and Harley agreed it was the right thing to do.

I looked at her and asked her what her name was and she replied Athena. I looked at William and he nodded his head I asked her if she would like to come back to the pack or if she wanted us to help her get in touch with her original pack so that she could go home if she wanted to. She asked me if I was serious or not when William and I told her that we were she agreed to it and then we sent some guards to help her get her stuff and we burned Robb’s with his body. I was glad to have her back she was innocent in all the plots against us (at least I hope). I showed her to her room and asked if she needed anything for the night. She said no she would be alright for the night.

The next day William and I waited until Athena came downstairs to have breakfast with us and the pack everyone looked at her with knowing eyes that she was losing it and we all understood why she felt that way. After we were done William and I asked her if she was ready to go get the rest of her stuff from her and Robb’s house. She said that she was and that she was thinking of selling the house and the land. I told her we would stand by her if that was what she wanted. We loaded up into William and my truck and set off to her house we had a dozen warriors with us to help load anything she wanted to keep that was too heavy for her or me to carry.

About an hour later we arrived at the property and she opened the gate to let us in we were immediately greeted by about 30 men and women who surrounded our vehicles and then looked at Athena as she was getting out of the truck. She told them that we were the Alpha and Luna that Robb went to try to kill and take over our pack and that he was dead. They looked at William and me and some growled but were shut down right away by her telling them that he had planned to kill our children as well. After we got into the house, Athena told them that she was planning to sell the house and the property unless they wanted to stay. They were more than welcome to but they would be rouges. They split in half after she told them that she would be dissolving the pack and that she was going back to her original pack with William and me.

After we got everything loaded up, William and I turned to the pack and told them they could join us or become rouges. They accepted and went to their rooms or houses to get their stuff ready. We told them that once they were ready we would see them at the house and we would have rooms for the ones that didn't have families or houses for the ones that had families and wanted privacy. When we got back to the house everyone helped get all of Athena's stuff unloaded and into her new house.
