Bound By Contract:A Tale Of Riches and Independence

Natalie, a young lady from a small town came to the city to fulfill her dream. Her dream was to become a renounced lawyer. If she stayed in her small town,she won't be able to fulfil her dream. Coming to the city was a very big decision for her. She has been in the city for a while and she doesn't see a reason why she came to the city because of the stres she has been going through. Hours of unfinished arguments isn't her thing. It makes everything look boring for her in the court so she decided to look for another job at a prestigious organization. The owner of the prestigious organization is a billionaire. He just divorced his wife because she wanted to destroy his organization with her wicked ways. So he's now looking for a young woman that will disguise as his wife for the time being because his ex wife wants to come back to him and he is willing to do anything to stop her. When Natalie got to the front of the organization,she looked at the building before entering. When she walked through the reception, she saw a lady sitting behind a desk with a computer in front of her. She walked towards her. “Good morning, I'm here to apply for a job as an assistant,” Natalie said. The receptionist looked up and greeted her back, “ Good morning miss, welcome.” The receptionist made a phone call and after some mins she was done with the call. She looked up at Natalie and said “You can drop your CV,we will get back to you ma.” She dropped it and left feeling sad. She thought they weren't going to call her back. Meanwhile, Ezekiel saw her when she went inside and when she came out back. He saw that she was so beautiful and would fit for what he's looking for. Immediately she left, Ezekiel called the receptionist to bring the lady that just left CV. The receptionist was stunned but answered that she will be in his office shortly.The receptionist brought the CV to him,dropped it on his table and left. Ezekiel went through the CV and smiled. He called the receptionist and told her to call Natalie to come back because he wants to see her. Natalie hasn't gotten home yet. She was at the front of a shopping mall admiring a wedding dress she saw when she got a call from an unknown number. She picked the call and she was told to return to where she dropped her CV,that the CEO would like to interview her himself. She thanked the caller and ended the call feeling so excited. She turned back and headed to the prestigious organization. When she got there,the receptionist took her to the entrance of Ezekiel's office and left. She was feeling nervous as she was about to enter. She knocked and walked in. “Good day sir,I was told you want to interview me yourself sir,” she said, still standing. Ezekiel turned his chair around to look at her,she was facing down so he couldn't see her face probably. “Sit down and lift up your head,” Ezekiel said. She lifted up her head and was looking at him. “Actually,you aren't here to be interviewed,I just want to offer you this job if you are interested,” Ezekiel said. Natalie answered so excitedly, “I am more than interested in the job sir.” Ezekiel then said “I want you to be my bride and it will be a contract marriage,” Natalie was looking at him confused, “don't worry, everything you've ever dreamed of will come to pass,” he said. Natalie didn't know what to say. She was so confused and also excited a little because of the part that she will get what she's dreamt of. “Are you interested in becoming my contract bride?” Ezekiel asked her. “This offer will turn your life around and you will have to live a luxurious life,” Ezekiel was persuading her so that she would accept because he needed her to decide immediately. “Will I be safe and secure?” Natalie asked him. Ezekiel answered her “Yes,of course”. “Okay, I've accepted the offer,let me know when I will start my work as your wife,” Natalie said standing up to leave. “You will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and you also have to move in with me so that people will think we are real couples,” Ezekiel said, smiling at her. “Why sign the agreement?” Natalie asked, looking lost. “Because no one must know you are in a contract marriage,” Ezekiel answered her. Natalie was looking at him as he was bringing out the contract from his drawer. He gave her the contract and she went through it. “Why should I move in with you?, just call me when you need me and I will be available.” She disagreed with the moving in option. “We must make this marriage look real to the public, that's why you are moving in with me, Ms. Natalie.” After Ezekiel answered her,she requested for a pen and signed the contract. Ezekiel was more than happy that she signed it. Natalie saw the way he was happy and she was wondering why he was so happy because she signed the contract. “It looks like he's hiding something from me,” she said, talking to herself. She had to wait for Ezekiel to finish at work because he's going to take her to his place. After Ezekiel was done with work,she already slept off on the couch where she sat. Ezekiel got to her and saw that she had slept. He looked at her lovingly and smiled. He immediately changed his expression. “She's just your contract bride,so behave,” he said to himself. He woke her up and told her it's time to go home. She adjusted herself on the couch before standing up and following him. They both got to where he parked his car,he opened the car door for her to get in and she got in. He went to sit in the driver's seat too and they drove off. Meanwhile, Ezekiel's ex wife was watching everything happening. She wondered who that woman was and told her bodyguard to find more information on that woman. After some minutes,they got information on her. Her name and all details about her life. The ex wife smiled and said, “Ezekiel,is this how you want to play it? Then let's see if she will last with you.”
