CHAPTER 2

When Ezekiel and Natalie got home, everything was already set. She went inside the mansion and she was so surprised,never in her life did she think she would enter a luxurious building like this.
They went into the living room and it was fantastic,she was looking around the house smiling.
She didn't look at her front that Ezekiel had stopped,she bumped her head into his chest.
She quickly moved back and apologized, Ezekiel was just smiling with this child's play of her's.
He then said, “ Would you like to stay in my room or get a private room?”. She answered “ I would like to get a private room”.
“I already know that's what you will choose so your room has been prepared,” Ezekiel said.
He showed her to her room , everything had been prepared there already. No need for her to go and pack her things, everything there is more than enough.
She was so happy that she went to hug Ezekiel,she immediately shifted back when she realized what she had done.
Ezekiel was surprised too with the hug but he quickly changed his expression. “Freshen up and come out for dinner,” Ezekiel said this and left for his own room.
When he got to his room,he couldn't get his head straight. Since Natalie has slept off in his office,he was stealing glances at her.
“Why am I behaving like this around her?” He asked himself.
While still thinking,he got a call from an unknown number,
“Unknown number: Boss, your ex wife is monitoring Madam sir”
“I know, just continue keeping your eyes on her every movement,” Ezekiel told him.
“Okay boss,” the unknown number hung up the call.
Ezekiel started thinking of how to protect Natalie from his ex wife,he must do everything in his power to protect her or else he won't forgive himself if anything happens to her.
A servant knocked on his door to inform him that dinner is ready. He got up, freshened up and went to eat.
When he got to the dining table, Natalie was already there. She was looking so pretty. She was wearing a nightie with no bra inside so her n*****s were showing.
Ezekiel cleared his throat and shifted his gaze away from her chest. They ate in silence with no disturbance, Ezekiel was waiting for Natalie to stand up without her phone so that he would put the tracker there.
Fortunately,she said she wanted to use the toilet and left without taking her phone. He used that opportunity to put it on without stress so that she wouldn't notice anything.
She came back,they ate finished and they both wished each other a good night and went to their private rooms.
When it was morning, Natalie woke up very early because she thought she would resume work but she remembered that she wasn't employed yet, rather she was given a bigger offer.
She was thinking if she would be sitting at home all day when a knock interrupted her thinking.
“Yes,come in,” she answered.
Ezekiel went inside and greeted her,he then went straight to the point.
So you will be working as my assistant from today. As Ezekiel told her that she would be working as his assistant, she was surprised. She couldn't speak for a while because she thought it was a dream.
“I thought I was just going to be your contract bride at home?” She asked him.
“Are you okay with being my personal assistant?” He asked, looking at her confused.
“I'm very okay with it,” she answered smiling.
Ezekiel was happy she agreed,so he smiled back at her before he continued what he was saying.
“We will go to work together and come back home together,is that okay with you?” He asked.
“Yes,but why are you doing this?” She asked him.
“I have my reasons, when the time is right I will let you know the reasons,” he answered her.
They got ready for work and left the house, Ezekiel's ex wife was still monitoring them together and Ezekiel knows.
They get to work and Natalie's desk has already been shifted inside Ezekiel's office. She looked surprised but quickly changed her facial expression.
Ezekiel saw her expression but chose not to talk,he told her to sit and he went to his table too.
Ezekiel's ex wife was thinking of what to do to make Ezekiel angry or probably make his so-called wife irritated,so she decided to pay them a visit.
It was lunch time,and everyone was getting their lunch. Ezekiel saw that Natalie was busy with the files he gave her,she didn't even notice that it was lunch time.
He wanted to take her out for lunch but he doesn't want it to be like he's desperate to take her out.
As he was about to ask her out for lunch,the door was opened revealing Ezekiel's ex wife.
Natalie didn't know who she was,she stood at her front and didn't let her go further.
“Good afternoon ma,you can't barge in like that man,this is an office,” she said trying to sound polite.
“And who are you to tell me that,do you know who I am?” Ezekiel's ex wife questioned Natalie.
“I don't know who you are,but you can't just barge in like that,” Natalie answered.
Ezekiel was watching the scenario happening in his front,he could stop smiling at Natalie's confidence.
“I see you are his new contracted wife,” she said nodding her head, “keep up the good work but I assure you that you won't stay by his side for long,” she said this and left.
Natalie was feeling so frustrated and agitated, she doesn't know who she is but she could feel that she's dangerous and has an evil plan for Ezekiel.
Ezekiel stood up from his seat and went beside her, his voice bringing her back to time. “That's my ex wife, Calista.
“Ohh, I see,” was all Natalie said.
Ezekiel knew she wasn't herself,he really wants to explain what led to their divorce
and what she has done badly to his company over the years but it is not the right time yet.
