Caged in

The thing about change is you never see it, it just happens and before you know it you a forced to face a new truth, a new life, I didn't want a new life.

I'd thought for so long that I never had a purpose, that me being a live meant nothing! But the moment I woke up to, the moment I opened my eyes and seen my two babies. Everything changed! I never wanted them to live in a world like I did, mum always loving Cas more, dad always running off every chance he could, an unstable family that's only hope was that their unwanted, unloved, daughter would some day be someone important!

Well I might not be to them, but I sure as hell was to my kid's!

I thought I could trust that as a mother, I'd no what the right thing's to-do were. That all of this would mean they'd be forever safe from experiencing the cruelness off the world, I couldn't of been more wrong!

I thought Asher was serious, that he'd somehow managed to forgive me, I was wrong about that too.

The moment he could he dropped me in-to my own person hell, leaving me in a cell to listen to them all rambling on about how they've not found any leads!

It's been a week! And they've found no new leads, no cure for my baby boy!

The pen start's to empty, I shake it and try again but nothing shows on the paper.

The door's open, I can hear Asher, standing outside, when he finally opens the door, I can see just how much it's all weighing down on him. Good!

"Where is Luna?" Asher looked away, staring at the door to my prison cell. "Asher where is she!?"

"Law didn't tell you? Strange I thought you two were best buds now." His mood swings were giving me a headache.

"You know what, forget it! Screw you! Let me find them myself! I did a good enough job looking after them before you and I sure as hell will do a better job without you! Sending all these people out while you sit here baby sitting me is getting us nowhere! I'm done doing it your way!" Asher turns so fast I never even seen it, he pushes against the wall of my cell.

"Don't for a second think I'm ever going to trust you again! Because as far as I can see you've done a s**t job!

One kid in a coma, one kid kidn*pped, yeah great parent you are!"

"ASHER!" Cas screams from behind him, pulling him off me. "You said you had it under control, get the hell out of here!" Asher looks between us both, probably wondering how hard it actually was to kill a vampire, I wanted to yell at him to just get it over with, but my wolf side had other ideas.

"Oh and your besty, what's her name? Luna? Yeah she's gone, her poor little heart no longer beats! How tragic." I could hear the sarcasm dripping off each word, I wanted to crumble, to fall to piece's, but he didn't deserve the satisfaction, or maybe he did. But I wasn't going to give it to him!

"How you holding up!?" I gave Cas a dumbfounded look. "Yeah okay, dumb question."

I didn't want to talk to him, I wanted him to leave just like his best friend did. I wanted both of them to disappear, to trade spots with my babies!

"You have to eat O."

"DON'T CALL ME THAT! GET THE f**k OUT! GO FIND YOUR PRINCE CHARMING AND FOLLOW HIS EVERY COMMAND!" My word's hurt him, I could see it all over his face.

"YOU KNOW WHAT'S EVEN SADDER THAN BEING ME RIGHT NOW!? BEING IN LOVE WITH A MOSTER LIKE THAT! YOU NEED BETTER TASTE BROTHER, BECAUSE NEW'S FLASH. NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS OR DOES AT THE END OF THE DAY HE STILL LOVES ME! HOW SICK IS THAT!? EVEN WHEN I BREAK HIS HEART HE CAN'T LOVE YOU BACK!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH OMEGA!" Well f**k me, who invited mummy dearest to this meeting!

"Oh sure, I guess you showed up to finally be a mum did you? Oh no I get it got to keep up the good appearance so the other wolf's don't think you're a failure! Take a good look at your kid's Shay one's in love with his alpha and the other is locked up, you definitely didn't f**k us up at all. Good job honey!"

"You selfish little brat! I'm here because I'm getting you out! So is your brother! So hate us all you want, maybe just hold it in until we get your stupid asshole self out! You think I don't know I f****d up!? You think I'm not hurting because my only daughter didn't even tell me I had grand babies! You need a serious wake up call my girl!"

I sit up, sweat dripping off my body.

"Luna?"

"Ohh baby girl, you are a mess!"

"You. You."

"I'm dead. I know. But you aren't! What the hell are you sitting in here for! You are a goddamn vampire, compell them i***t! Get out of here and save our wolf's!"

"Compell?"

"You didn't think being a vampire meant you just couldn't die did you. God Omega you are the strongest person in here! Look at you for god sake you can talk to ghosts, what else do you need to prove that you can get out of here!"

"I'm so tired Luna." 

"I know babe, I know you are!  But you need to keep fighting!"

"Luna I'm so sorr!"

"No, don't! I don't want to hear it! All I want to hear is that you understand! That you'll get out of here! That you won't let anyone stop you from fixing this!" Tears streamed down my face. 

"But I can't fix you!"

"Baby girl, I don't need to be fixed. I'm okay. I'm okay because you gave me a life when I'd given up mine, you showed me how to love unconditionally, how to laugh again! How to make the best out of the pain. You already fixed me, now it's time to fix you!"

"I don't want to say goodbye!" I can't! I wouldn't!

"Don't, I'll see you again one day! When they've grown and you've had a beautifully magical life!" Luna sat on the bed next to me. "The beauty will out way the pain! You just have to fight!"
