One soul too many.

OMEGA'S POV

The Aurora clan happened to be the second most important pack of wolf's, they in no way measured up to the Crimson moon clan, the one I was born in to, the one my son will lead in the future. If he ever survives this that is.

"Luna , the Alpha is ready to see you now." The small omega announced to me, she looked like she was fifteen. Boy what I wouldn't give to be that young and naive again! R squeezed my hand.

"You've got this! I have full faith in you!" I wanted to argue back but instead I decide to just nod in agreement. I still didn't understand why he travelled all this way if he wasn't even going into this meeting with me? "You can do this Omega!" R whispered making me jump a little.

"Okay, I'm ready." Was I though?

As we got closer to the door my nerves got worse, I tucked my hands behind my back to the hide the shaking.

I gasped, feeling a tightness in my chest.

"Mother-f!" The young girl spun around her hand was ready to open the door, her eyebrow raised. "That's Alpha Asher in there isn't it!?" Her face burned red.

"Yes Luna, he asked to sit in on the meeting." Of course he did, my eye's narrowed into the door. I hope he could feel how pissed off I was right now! What sick game was he playing?! I'm here to get our kid's back not play who's the bigger Alpha!

"I can see there's been a little communication error, do you two need to speak alone?" Alpha Xander asked as I stepped into the room, looking from Asher to me.

"That's not necessary, unless my Luna thinks it's needed." Asher looked over at me with the fakest smile I'd ever seen, who was this guy?

"It concerns him as well, so I don't see any problem with him being here." I tried my best to sound professional, but anyone that knew me, knew Asher had caught me off guard. Well played.

"Very well." Alpha Xander cleared his throat, pointing to a chair between Asher and Law that they'd left free. Oh, just lovely. Sandwiched between my two favourite people, what did I ever do to deserve this?! "I guess we should get right to the matter at hand, you are asking for assistance in finding your child?" Alpha Xander rubbed his temple, deep in though. "Ahh that's it, and if I heard right the other is in some sort of coma? So tell me Alpha what do you know, besides for what I've already said."

Xander completely ignored me, instead speaking to Asher like he was the one who arranged the meeting.

"I."

"The pack managed to trace them all the way to the forest on this side, we would of kept going but stopped out of respect to you, a source also found out that it was a hunter." I could feel Asher's shock as the word's left my mouth, the little girl he was trying to lock up and protect didn't even need it.

"Well in that case, we have one of the man the pack was after. One of my pack member's managed to stop him." Xander looked over at his Beta, telling him something in his mind.

His beta nodded and stod up, leaving the room in a hurry to go do whatever he was ordered to do.

"I'd like to tell you both how much my heart goes out to you, nobody should have to go through this because of hunter's! They've hunted our clan's for to long, we will help you because it means stopping this from ever happening again!"

I didn't have any word's, he would help, but only so he could kill them? Did it matter if my daughter was in the crossfire? Would he still be okay with it if the tables were reversed and it was his child we'd be discussing!?

Asher grabbed my hand, pulling apart the fist I'd made, blood was dripping from the cut's my nails made.

"Thank you for the support, we appreciate it!" I looked up at Asher, he didn't sound thankful at all.

But before I could say or do anything like a magnet, I jumped up moving over to the door.

Was I going to run? No, my heart was going a hundred mile's an hour why would I make it worse? I crumbled to my knee's, the pain overwhelming me as my body was consumed. I willed myself to stay concious, whatever this was demanded my full attention! I couldn't pass out now!

The door swung open and arm's grabbed me off the floor, pulling me hard against a large chest. I coughed when I stopped getting air.

"Mine." And just like that, my hard heart, my brick wall's and built so high, all burned down.

"What the hell!" Asher tried to pull me back but the hand's were faster and moved me behind him. "LUCA WHAT THE f**k MAN! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MY FRIEND! SHE'S MINE!" Well shiiiiiiiiiit. What had I gotten myself in to.

"BOTH OF YOU SIT THE HELL DOWN!" Alpha Xander's voice was loud and clear, his year's of authority shining through. "NOW!"

I heard Asher sigh, and finally the body in front of me relaxed. When he turned around to look at me I was more than stunned to realise that this, this was actually happening! For some stupid ass reason the wolf mother decided that I out of everyone, that I would be put in this position! Luca pulled out a chair on the otherside of the table and pulled me over to sit while he stood behind me. I looked over at Xander afraid to look across the table at Asher, who was staring at me making me more nervous than when I'd gotten here.

Xander rolled his eye's at his son.

"I did say sit didn't I?!" It was a whisper, but to the room full of wolf's he might as well of yelled it.

"Well it appears we have a lot more to discuss!"

"I'm afraid we don't, she's mine and that's it. We are here so you can help us find our daughter not so you can take her mother away!" Asher was ready for an argument, and for once I wasn't complaining. I didn't know how I felt, but right now wasn't the time to figuring it out!

Alpha Xander looked annoyed as he looked at his watch.

"Asher having kids together doesn't mean anything if you'd have no bond, is she even happy with you"

Asher shot daggers at the man standing behind me, he was feeding information to his dad through the pack's mind-link.

"Yes I'm sorry, I agree with Asher." - I don't know why I was defending Asher but I felt the need to protect him."

"Okay. See it's settled, she's mine." Asher said like he'd claimed his prize.

"Luca claimed her, how is that possible if she's already claimed?" Xander's Beta asked.

Asher didn't take his eye's off Luca.

"No you know what, what does Luca have to say about all of this? Are you just going to stand there?!"

"I'd rather not say anything right now!" At least he was smart.

"Son, you will be Alpha of this pack but I'm still Alpha now, you will answer Alpha Asher's question." I felt bad for him, being put on the spot because someone outranked you was pure bullshit.

"I'm so sorry man, I've been looking for my mate for my whole life. How am I supposed to live knowing I never even had a chance?" My heart ached to stop his pain, but I didn't move afraid I'd make everything worse. "I'll fight you for her!"

Asher laughed.

"You want to fight me for what's already mine?" "That hardly seems fair, but okay."

"NO! ABSOLUTELY f*****g NOT! THAT'S OUT OF THE QUESTION! I'M HERE BECAUSE MY BABY IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE AND YOU TWO WANT TO DECLARE WAR OVER A PERSON?! " What the hell was I hearing right now!?

"LUNA. Please control your temper! This will happen! Due to the current circumstances we are in no fight will happen until the children are safe and returned, in saying that Luca claimed her, the Luna will stay here as our guest until the fight" I knew in that moment, Xander and I, we'd never get on. I'd make it my life's mission to hate him!

"Are you sure I don't have a say?" I knew the answer, I just wanted to make sure he knew what it meant for us.

"No. That's not how it work's, you aren't a Luna yet. You'll do as you are told." Xander's demeanour changed from being okay to straight up d**k in less than ten minute's, now that's talent.

"She's a f*****g human you can't just keep her here against her will." Asher fought back.

"You mean like you did, shall I put bars around her too?"

Asher eye's Luca, he told his dad. Ouch.

"I don't know what you think you know, but I won't to make it very clear that you really don't have a f*****g clue! " Stop sticking up for him Omega!

"O." Asher warned me.

So what I swore, you will all survive.

"What if I stayed with Mr R? I'll stay until after the fight and after that I promise to do whatever you want!"

"NO!"

I glared at Asher

Xander thought for a moment and nodded.

"Very well, you will stay with him till this is over. And then I don't want any arguments from you."

"Yes sir, I'll do whatever."

Would I though? I guess we'll find out.

"Yeah, I'm sure." He didn't sound convinced. "

Luca you will accompany the future Luna back to her new house, make sure she has all she needs and return!"

"I can take her myself!" Asher said standing up.

"Asher, it's okay."

We needed them, they might be the only chance we had at seeing Lanni again. I pleaded with him with my eye's.

"Fine!"

Asher walked out the room, slamming the door shut behind him

"Well that sounded eventful, I hear I have a new house mate?"

Oh s**t, I realised I hadn't even had time to ask him

"Sorry, I can stay somewhere else if you want. I uh."

R smiled.

"It's fine, having a lady around the house besides for worker's isn't as horrible as I'd thought it to be."

"I hear you have a driver to take you home, I have a few thing's I need to do so I'll met you back there." R moved towards the hall.

"Oh, okay."

"You'll be fine, he isn't going to mark you. His driving you home." I rolled my eye's, oh s**t. I hadn't even thought of that till he'd mentioned it.

"Yeah, right. I know that." R smiled at me seeing my sudden nervousness.

"Are you ready?" Luca asked walking up behind me, I blushed afraid he'd heard our conversation.

"Ah, so this is the young man who wants to fight for my daughter."

"Daughter?"

Luca looked amused.

"Adopted daughter, same thing really. I guess I don't have to warn you, you know who I am. So don't make me do something I don't want to, now off you go you two."

Luca looked a little thrown.

"His kidding, don't pay attention to it."

Luca turned to look down at me, a smile spread across his face.

"You aren't anything like I imagined."

"I'm sorry."

I truly was, I couldn't imagine finding a mate after waiting for so long for her to have kid's to someone else, for her to have her soul already tied to someone.

"No, don't be. You're better than what I imagined."

I blushed again, what in the f**k was happening to me? For the love of the wolf, was this the bond? Because we're all, screwed if it is.

"Shall we go?"

I nodded not trusting my word's.

Luca just gave me another dazzling smile, dimples forming in his checks. He grabbed my hand holding it to his chest.

"My soul mate."

His a gawwwwd! My wolf howled inside.

This is who we've been waiting for!

I wanted to tell her off, but she wasn't wrong. Everything about it just seemed right. f**k it, we are screwed, this was the bond.
