Who is my husband!

Meeting him

The day was moving slowly with me nervous like a high schooler waiting for results after taking an examination.Why was I this nervous? I was nervous for just two reasons!

The first one was the so called wedding with a man I’ve never even met while the second was because of The contract.

My company is one of the few companies that has not been contacted yet but I believe we will be called for an interview soon.I prepared a simple dinner of Pasta and sauce while nervously waiting for anything at all.

It was now 8;30 pm and there was still nothing.How can my so called husband not even try to contact me if the wedding is tomorrow. I decided to have my nails done but I ran out of paint,I took a trip to the convenience store where I got the essentials and some snacks.

It was pretty chilly so I was dressed in a hoodie,a sweat pants and slippers.I plugged my phone in and played my favorite song from Bts.It was titled Life goes on so I could actually relate to the lyrics.I was screaming the lyrics unknowingly until I bumped into a person.

I apologized without looking up and bent down to pick the things that fell from my bag,only to realize that my purse has gone missing.I looked back and saw the guy running so I ran after him.

I could run a few meters as I was a sporty person but he was just too fast.I gave up after a few minutes of chasing him,sighed and headed back to my apartment.

I never should have gone out for some stupid nail paint.My purse had my key in it and all of my cash,the only thing I had left was my phone.

I decided to find a hotel but most of them were booked when I searched online.I found out Leo Guesthouse had some rooms available,it was a big hotel owned by a very good company.

It was very expensive for a night rest but I went with it anyway.I took a walk to the hotel because what are the odds of meeting anybody I know in a big hotel like this.The room was being prepared so I had more time to lounge around and text Diane.

To Diane;What’s up baby,I got your bridesmaid dress.

Diane;You did what color is it?

To Diane;Pink.

Diane;You hate pink did you actually choose that?btw can I see.

To Diane;No Amy chose it and you can’t see it cus am not home right now.

Diane;You are a soon to be bride where the heck did you go a day to your wedding?

To Diane; I lost my purse this night and it had my keys I didn’t wanna disturb anybody so I’m in a hotel.

Diane;Who the heck snatched your purse did you see his face?Did you report to the police as well?Are you okay?

To Diane; I didn’t file a complaint and I didn’t see his face.FYI am okay.

Diane;You should have just called me,Anyways be safe I’m bringing you a wedding cake tomorrow with lots of food.XD

To Diane;I guess I do have something to look forward to tomorrow I can’t wait chef D.Don’t be late I might actually murder a person before your arrival??.

Diane;I would hate to miss that and am also really curious about who your husband is.

To Diane;I am curious too girl.Good night.

Diane was my comfort zone every step of my life.I checked the time only to realize it was now 11 pm.I went to the counter to ask for the room key which the receptionist handed to me.

I took a second to glance at the hotel properly and realized the little details I had missed before.The building was facing a massive pool and fountain that was visible through a glass.The ceilings were painted with white paint and different chandeliers hung from every direction.Candle like bulbs were also used in the hallway along with lambs.

Light radiates from different directions while flowers scents filled the air.I was engrossed in looking at the hotel so i got into the elevator.

Tell him I don’t want him to appear in front me a man said to another man beside him .The later bowed out of respect to the former and replied yes President.

Ma’am you cannot be here,this elevator is strictly for the president only.

I am so sorry I had no idea,it’s my first time here I replied awkwardly.

Fire all the security men on duty right now the president said flipping through some papers.”No it’s my fault don’t do that I am really sorry and I apologize please don’t fire them I will leave I replied pressing the red button on the elevator.

It’s okay let’s just drop you first the president answered with his eyes still on the papers.Thank you so much sir I replied once again.

The ride was a silent one except for the constant flipping of pages done by the president.He also gave off a cold aura which gave me goosebumps all over but he looked handsome even from the side.He had blue eyes and black hair that fell all over his face.I stared at him until the elevator dinged and I had to get off.

Thank you once again sir I said waving to the secretary and you too Mr Grumpy President I mumbled walking away.

I released the breadth I didn’t even know I was holding when I got into my room.Mr president,Now who exactly is that I asked myself as I laid on the bed.
