“I still don't like this," Eden muttered beside me, arms crossed tightly over his chest.
I sighed, rubbing at my temple. "Yeah, you've made that very clear."
Ever since I told him about Alpha Matthias wanting to meet, Eden had voiced his displeasure non-stop. I got it, trusting Matthias after everything was a risk. A huge one.
I turned to face him. "Look, I know you don’t like it, but I want to get this over with."
