Solange's POV:
I couldn't utter a word now that I was face to face with the Lycan beast from earlier.
Did I know anything about him, except that he was my mate? Absolutely not. But power like his doesn’t usually need an introduction, you just know that you should run the other way when faced with them.
“I know my face was personally carved by the angels, but when I ask you a question, I expect an answer. Let’s try this again. Where is my daughter?” the Lycan beast asked me, and I swallowed, trying to get the lump out of my throat.
It didn’t quite work. Goddess knows I’m scared right now.
“She’s gone,” I managed to force out. The Lycan Prince raised his brow at me, then got to his feet and began to chuckle. With each step he took toward me, my heart went into overdrive.
