Crazy In Love

Sophia was so happy and relieved after a week at work. She got a job as a marketing/ advertiser at one of the biggest companies. She told her family that she would be back tomorrow, but she came back today to surprise them with her job promotion.  Sophia couldn't help being happy because she will surprise her boyfriend to tell him first her job promotion before her family. As she arrived at Palm Spring International Airport from JFK International airport, she went straight to her boyfriend's house.  She takes out her spare key inside her bag to Josh's house. The house was quiet, but she saw Josh's car outside. Sophia went to the kitchen, and in the backyard, no one there. She makes her way to Josh's room to check if he was there, but as Sophia was about to open the door, it was slightly open; she hears gasping and moaning inside Josh's bedroom.  She pushes open the door; she saw her beloved boyfriend and step-sister in bed f*****g each other.  She couldn't believe it! “You two-faced son of a b.....ch!! How long are you two doing this behind my back? “Sophia, it's not what it looks like we're... She cut Joshua off with two words, "Were Over! And turn to leave, but Hannah couldn't shut up. “Come on! Sophia, you weren't giving him what he wants, so it's your fault and not his.” “And besides, you are always not by his side every time he has a problem.”  Sophia decided to be matured. "I won't waste my time on you two arguing; enjoy the both of you!  Sophia walked away, and she doesn't cry as if nothing happened. I won't cry to that worthless bastard. Instead, she dragged her luggage away from that place. A biting cold wind whipped her flesh. Sophia tightens her jacket to her body. She was walking beside the road in her black down jacket. Sophia kept on inhaling to keep herself not crying.  Suddenly a man appeared from a corner, slammed on her, and fell to the ground. Sophia was rattled and looked at the man. He was the most handsome man she had ever seen. He was wearing a black wool coat and a V-neck shirt. One of his hands was holding his bleeding abdomen. He was injured.  "Sir! you're injured. I will call an ambulance." The man frowned and shook his hand. "Don't.... some people are chasing after me."  At that moment, Sophia heard rustling footsteps and some voices."Hurry!, we must get rid of him today! Sophia bit her lips with great effort, moved the injured man into the bush by the side of the road. "Sir! hide here for a while, and I will lead them away." The man wanted to stop her, but Sophia was fast like a rabbit, leaving him with a hazy image of a girl.  Sophia stood on the road, and a group of men in black appeared; upon seeing her, they asked rudely.  “Oui! the young lady, have you seen an injured man passing by? Sophia hid her other hand in the pocket of her down jacket with her face unchanged. She pointed with her other hand and said, "I saw a man holding his abdomen running."  "He ran over there! Sophia felt their gloomy stare.  Are they suspecting that I lied? It cant be? One of them starts to walk towards Sophia. Then suddenly, a string of melodious ringing sounds came from her pocket. She took out her phone and answered it.  “Hello! Josh." "I'm near Liz's house.” You'll be here in a minute? “Ok, I will wait here." On the other side? “Ok, bye! Sophia hung up the phone without looking at the ferocious men in black. She crossed the road and stood while pretending to have a conversation on the phone while looking at the side.  The men in black removed their doubts with her innocent look, calm, and natural behavior; she did not seem to be lying.  Suddenly, a man in a suit came walking towards her. Hey! I'm here!. The men in black dispelled their thoughts of suspicion of her. They quickly rushed towards the direction where she pointed.  The man in the suit scratched his head, confused by Sophia's greetings. Sophia looked around and confirmed that those men in black walk far away before apologizing to the man in a suit.  "Sir! thank you for passing by here."  "I'm afraid of all those men in black, so I put on an act that I was waiting for someone." "It's okay! I hope I can help."  Sophia crossed the road and sneaked into the bush. She sat next to the injured man, heart-thumping loud; he could have died. She looked at the man, saw a large pool of blood on the ground. It looked like he was no longer breathing.  Sophia put her index finger on nan's nose to feel if he was still breathing; Sophia feels relieved that the man was still alive.  "Sir! Sir!! Sophia shakes the man with shivering hands. Tears flowing down her cheeks as she asked, "Don't die... No... she was crying in fear." "Stop shaking me; I'm not dead." The man moves his lips spoke in weakly. Sophia wipes away her tears. Why don't you say anything earlier? "You gave me a heart attack."  "You're shy now, haven't you're brave earlier?. The man smirked at her. "I am brave! Sophia retorted. She took out a sanitary pad from her bag and put it on the man bleeding abdomen, and helped put pressure on the wound.  The man had his eyes on her to what she was doing and see the delicate, beautiful face.  Why did you pant so heavily? "Because I ran too fast, I was worried that you'd die." "Those men in black had gone." "Let me send you to the hospital. "  "It's okay, and my people are coming." "By the way, What's your name? "Thank you for helping me." "I'm Sophia Hankey. It's my pleasure to help people in need." "What's your... then the Land Rover bummed its brakes on the road. The door pushed open, and two men greeted the injured man. "Sir!!.. they helped him up.  She knew that those are the people who would save him, so she let them take him away. The man turned around before he left.  Can I get your phone number?  Sophia was at a loss for words while handing her phone to the man she looks like bewitch by the man. She realized she was infatuated. The man hands her back her phone without any expression. He looked at her and got in the Land Rover swiftly drove off. Sophia waited until the car was out of her sight before she woke up from her reverie.  That bastard Josh didn't even bother chasing or follow me. He did not even plead, so it means he did not love me. She looked at the blood-stained on her hand, the man's eyes appeared in her head, and her heart started racing. She shook her head and cleared her mind with the man's image. No Sophia; you will not meet him again. It's just an accident that you help him. Then she shouts ahh!!.  Sophia called her best friend Nancy, but the call went straight to voicemail. She tried again, but it's the same. Instead, she called her other friend Liz; it went through. "Hello! Liz, it's me, Sophia." Can I sleep in your place tonight? "I don't feel like going home in my place." "I have something to tell you." What is it?  It's a long story! "I'll tell you when I get there." As she arrived at Liz's house, She told her everything that happened. Josh still has not tried to call her.  It only proved that he was not worth my effort. And she promises she won't cry to that worthless scum of a man like Josh.
