The long, waited call finally confirmed that I was hired for the position of an admin officer of the company that I know Duke and Caelen will not suspect to find information upon. They are always confident that I will not do such a move because I am close to them, which I never dared. But that was from the past.
It’s not treachery though. I am just being practical. I am confident this time that they won’t find me anymore because I already cut all the communications from them.
I smiled as I readied all my documents. I also got my phone inside my bag and dialed Ken’s number.
