Duke’s POV
Days passed quickly. It then turned into weeks. I still got no clue about Shania’s whereabouts. Should I give up this time? If she already gave up on our friendship, then I guess there should be no reason to hold on to that too. However, it’s really a bad idea of being happy when you know to yourself somebody is hurting.
I can’t still accept that feeling. I feel guilty. I felt ashamed even until now that it bothers me the whole time. I decided to drink somewhere far from both Caelen and George. I need my “alone” time for a while. I need to forget anything once in a while.
