Chapter 7

After gathering the evidence I went into the house. The aunt came and got the kids I said to Officer Robbins and Tristan. So apparently their father went missing years ago. Wait if their father went missing, how come we don’t have a missing person’s report on him. 
We all thought for a second 
That was a good question a really good question 
So good we didn’t have an answer for it and that puzzled us. 
We all searched the bedroom, living room and any nightstand we could find. I opened a drawer looking for anything and I found his wallet. 
Guys! Millie exclaimed I found his wallet. 
Tristan and Officer Robbins rushed in. 
The three of them went through the wallet. Everything was in there except for an ID and there were no credit cards or debit cards in there. Seems like X doesn’t want us to know who this is. I think I know who happened, Tristan said in a determined voice. 
What Officer Robbins says as she turns around to face him. The reason why this was never called in is because someone was him. What?? Someone was him. Yes Tristan said I believe he had a doppelgänger. That actually makes sense, Millie said, agreeing it was this X person. It has to be that explains the Blood on the ground and The message from X. 
Ok I think we’re all set here I got all the pictures for evidence I got all of them Officer Robbins said. 
Do you think Audrey will finally make a case about X Tristan says. Probably Robbins took pictures of the evidence, it's all on her phone Millie replied. Alright guys I called a clean up crew Robbins said. We just wait for them to arrive and they can handle the rest. Ok and this house was giving me the creeps anyway Millie said in a somewhat nervous tone. 
Agreed the quicker we get out the better. 
They all nodded 
Eventually the clean up crew came and started dealing with the rest. Once everything was dealt with and the body was taken care of along with the blood stains. Millie, Tristan, Officer Robbins and the cleanup crew all went back to the station. Audrey was in her office reviewing the case file she said she wasn’t gonna bother with ya know the one about Shawn. Yeah she clearly lied well kinda I guess I know it’s a lot. Her office doors burst open. She quickly threw the file in the drawer not even bothering to organize it. 
I know you were looking at Shawn’s case file Audrey Millie said disapprovalingly with her arms crossed over her chest . N-No I wasn’t she stammered. Don’t lie to me she said slightly raising her voice. 
Tristan cuts them off we can deal with this later. He gently took Officer Robbins phone out of her hands and slides it across the desk to her showing her the evidence pictures. 
We need to make a case file now Tristian said, putting his hands on her desk with a thud. 
On it Audrey said, grabbing an empty file.
(Meanwhile) 
The house was empty after they searched but they didn’t search the basement. The voice said echoing through it. The figure looked up at a board with tons of pictures with a bunch of thumbtacks holding the pictures against the board. He takes off his disguise and puts it in a trunk filled with other clothes. He adjusts his shirt from being under his disguise the whole time. 
He took a knife she sliced right through the picture of Harriet Walker then he did it again to Rhea and Colin Fletcher. 
Rip! Rip! The photos made after they were all sliced with a knife.
Too bad I couldn’t have used those kids for ransom. I may be heartless but not that heartless.

Let’s see disappearance or another murder 
Of course the second one. He marked his next victim with a thumbtack. The figure then got onto his computer and started typing he was hacking into his victims phones to locate them. Could he be stopped or not.
