"What? How can you make fire with a battery?" Amanda sounded skeptical, but Charlie just smiled. He casually pulled a wire from his storage box and placed it across the battery's positive and negative terminals.
The wire connected the battery terminals, and soon the middle of it began to heat up. Moments later, it glowed red-hot. Charlie brought the glowing wire close to the tinder, and the smell of burning immediately filled the air.

With a gentle blow toward the tinder, the sparks spread through it. As he covered the lit tinder with other combustible materials, a "whoosh" sound followed, and red flames sprang to life in front of everyone.
