Chapter 14 For the next week, Jake spent his time being frustrated at the restraints Russ, Kelly, and Carol put on him. “Don’t do this, be careful how you move, don’t bend over, I’ll get it,” he grumbled Sunday evening when Russ had told him not to try to get a bowl from the cabinet above the fridge. “Two more days and with luck the doc will tell you that you can start doing all the stuff we keep telling you not to,” Russ replied with a grin. “He’d better.
