I heard out of the hotel the next morning, I already booked a flight to leave the country back to my pack. I regret everything now.
I left my pack behind and family to get married to Lucas. Even when he was on my father's blacklist. I disagreed with everyone and married Lucas on my own free will.
Now, I'm atoning for it. As I dragged the luggage through the lobby, I felt myself grow lightheaded. It felt like I was going to pass out from thinking too much overnight.
As I continued, I almost fell but I was caught all of a sudden. I held the arms of the man who caught me. I held him tight, embracing him.
I didn't want to fall or lose my child. When I finally was able to get a grip on myself, I looked at him. "Are you okay?" He asked me. My eyes were wide open, it was as if I were staring at a demigod. He was so handsome, with his blonde hair, straight jawline and thin lips.
From his aura, he is an Alpha. I don't know if Alpha's have blonde hair. Their dark hairs are used to identify their supremacy over other wolves. I couldn't help but stare at him for long. Not until he spoke again and I immediately regained my senses.
"I.. I'm fine. Sorry" I immediately apologized, repairing my dress and my hair.
"Please take care" he said,
I walked away quickly. There was something odd about that man. Something about him sent strange feelings down my spine and my stomach began to hurt badly.
My heart beated faster inside my chest. As if I had ran out of breath.
"Luna Elisabeth" I heard a familiar voice call out my name. I turned and noticed Butler James standing a few meters away from me.
The old man with gray hair in a dark suit immediately rushed to meet me. "Luna, it's you… I finally found you, Luna" he exclaimed.
Tears swelled up in my eyes when I saw him. I couldn't even utter a word. He explained to me that grandpa was dying and he sent him to find me.
Ever since I left the pack four years ago to get married to Lucas as his chosen mate, grandpa had fallen sick.
The pack needed a new Alpha and I had to get married for them to get one. Sadly, I've just been divorced.
I shamefully returned back to my pack with butler James.
After I was settled, I was taken to see grandpa in his room. He was the former Alpha before the sudden death of my father. When I was asked to get married so an Alpha could be presented, I wanted to marry Lucas.
But grandpa explained to me that I had to marry whom the priest chose for me. How can I leave the man I love and get married to another? I had to elope with Lucas and get married to him.
Instead, he paid me with evil and cheated on me.
I saw grandpa laying on his sick bed. He immediately recognized my voice as I spoke. He had aged a lot. It's been four years since I last saw him.
I held his hand, tears dropped down my eyes. I tried to speak but my voice was drowned in tears and I couldn't.
"I'm sorry.. please forgive me grandpa" I cried out.
"It's fine, Lisa.. at least you're back now."
"I'm truly sorry " I couldn't help but continue to feel apologetic to him.
ALPHA RYKER
I arrived at the pack house that evening after picking up my sister at the airport. Ever since I coincidentally met that woman today, my heart hasn't stopped pounding.
My wolf, who has been asleep for all these years yelled mate! I can't believe I've found my mate. The one who will break the curse so my wolf can be released again!
I had to find her. I didn't know how but I have to!
I picked up my telephone and I called Adams right away to come.
"Big brown eyes, black hair, thin, fair skinned and very beautiful" I found myself describing the she-wolf to him. The one who is my mate!
"Find her by all means" I declared.
Adams left my bedroom immediately to get the job done. I have been searching for one for so many years.. I couldn't let go of this opportunity. No matter her background, I must have her.
At least, this will save me from getting married to that slut whom I heard eloped with her lover four years ago. How could my pack allow for my marriage to get arranged by some old deranged Alpha?
I will never Marry his daughter. Never! I won't end up with a woman who had the guts to run away from me because of a man.
If a woman is mine, she should belong to me alone.
"Brother… I heard the rumors" Kate, my sister, said.
I turned to meet her.
"What rumors?" I asked Kate.
She moved towards my bed and took her seat while I glared at her. Awaiting for her to break the information to me.
"She's back. Luna Elisabeth" Kate explained to me.
"What?" I asked, stunned.
"How could she be back?" I asked Kate. I clenched my fist hard forgetting that I was holding some keys in my palm and it pierced deeply into my skin.
"I heard her so-called lover jilted her. Now she's back and her grandpa wants to impose the marriage on you again by using the agreement made by father before his demise"
"What? No! I can't let that happen. Never!" I exclaimed.
I picked up my phone and called Adams again. "Prepare a flight to Silver city. I need to be there before dawn" I ordered.
Right now, all I can think of is not disappointing my mate. I have to get rid of this Elisabeth woman so I can be with my mate peacefully. I won't allow any arranged marriage to sabotage my plans.
