I am staring at the she-wolf who is my mate and soon to be Luna. She looked so frightened of me and I could see it.

She is yet to see me in my wolf form, I wouldn't even want her to see that monstrous part of me.

"Are you alright? I heard the noises" she asked, curiosity was written all over her face. I gave her a calm look, there was no need to scare her. She didn't know that we were mates yet. She couldn't understand what the sight and thoughts of her was doing to me.

"Take it easy with her Ryker" I tried to remind myself. I brushed my fingers through my blonde hair before I spoke.

"It was nothing. I had a little injury and beta Adams helped me apply medicine" I explained.

Lisa scanned my body with her eyes, trying to confirm where the injury was. She looked so frightened when she asked me. "Are you alright? What injury? How did it happen?"

I could sense the fear in her tone. "It's fine, it healed. You know, alpha's strength" I tried to remind her but she still feared for me.

"Tell me how to help. I'll have my maids prepare something for your health. Are you alright Ryker?" She placed her hand on my forehead, checking my temperature to see if I had a fever.

I smiled at her innocent attitude towards me. She was overreacting over a little lie I told her. "Why don't you help me instead of getting your maidens involved in this?" I said all of a sudden. Unable to control the naughty thoughts that formed in my head as I spoke to her.

She was wearing a flimsy dress, even though it was big enough to cover her whole body parts, it was still. See through the dress and her figure was slightly exposed to my view.

I moved closer to her. "How could she not feel the spark between us? It was so obvious that we are mates. Why couldn't she feel it? Maybe she has a weak wolf. But she didn't seem like it"

She didn't realize that I had her under my wings until she landed her back on the wall. Immediately she noticed, Luna Lisa tried to escape. I placed both of my hands on her sides, pinning her on the wall while I pressed my body on hers.

The closeness, it was doing me no good but I couldn't control it. My wolf wanted to have his mate, he wanted to claim her.

I leaned my face closer to her neck, sniffing the exciting fragrance that emanated from her body.. It smelled delicious. My fangs all popped out now and I was about to bite her when the door pushed open and Adams walked in.

He seemed to realize what he had interrupted so he stepped out quickly and apologized. "I'm So sorry for the interruption" Adams left us alone.

Elisabeth was able to escape from me. She arranged her dress which had gotten wrinkled from her tight grip. "Alpha Ryker, it's inappropriate for us to do anything before the wedding," she explained to me.

"I know that you're eager to claim me. But I promise you, I'm only yours as long as we get married" Lisa said and excused herself.

I wasn't even able to explain to her that I didn't act on my own. She was my mate and it was normal for my wolf to want to have her.

She seemed disappointed when she left. I didn't even regret my actions, it was crazy..

"What the hell just happened? Alpha Ryker and I?" I asked myself, subconsciously touching my neck where the feeling of his hot breath was still lingering on.

Alpha Ryker almost had me just now, and my body anticipated it. How can I allow him to mark me when I already have a child for another Alpha?

Even though we are to get married, with Lucas's pup inside of me, I dared not let him mark me.

I was so afraid as I walked briskly towards my bedroom. Why didn't I tell him about the pregnancy? The fear of his rejection wouldn't let me.

Even though Alpha Ryker seemed more lenient, I couldn't take that for granted. I still have to respect him.

My heart is still beating fastly from being with him just now. My wolf who has been asleep for years spoke in my head but I could barely understand her. During my sixteen years old birthday, it was prophesied by the priest that only my true mate could get my wolf awakened.

I thought it was Lucas but in my three years of being with him, never for once did my wolf awaken. I was only his chosen mate.

I just couldn't place a finger around this alpha Ryker. What is this thing about him that sparked up emotions inside me? Is it because of destiny? We are only destined to get married and not to be mated.

According to grandpa, he owes his father a favor and that is what I am going to fulfill. "Focus, Lisa! Focus!" I tried to bring myself back to my senses.

I placed my hand on my chest as my heart was still palpitating, almost escaping my ribcage. I tried to rest, it was nighttime already and tomorrow is going to be another long day..

I only have till tomorrow to announce my pregnancy to him and find out his decision. Touching my tummy, I wondered what would be the fate of my unborn pup. If he is going to have another father or be rejected again.

I couldn't help but think all of this through as it was difficult for me to decide what I wanted. But I am sure that I want to give my pup the best life.
