Chapter Fourteen I stumble out of the Mayor's building. Despite the human blood I drank, I'm still struggling to find my balance as I leave. I imagine it's going to take a little while for the blood to hit my system properly and fix the problems the lack of it caused me. But the revolution doesn't have time for me to stop feeling dizzy. I need to find someone from the Black Fan so I can tell them that the Mayor is definitely dead. Or that I think she is. Perhaps I should have done something to check more, but I'm out of the room now, it's better just to let it be. A figure runs up the stairs in front of the mansion, bouncing up the steps with energy I wish I felt. "Chloe, what are you still doing here?" she demands.
