Chapter 34: Guild house

The next day has come.
The long weekend of Kaede is still ongoing. Giving her lots of time to play her games.
Early in the morning, she logs in to meet up with her teammates. Laying her body on the bed she closed her eyes. Upon opening her eyes she found herself in front of the huge fountain. There the three girls are already waiting for her.
“Good morning everyone!”
“Good morning Kaede.”
“Kaede, Good morning.”
“Morning.”
While walking toward them. She then noticed someone else beside Saya.
She’s wearing armor and on her back was a great giant shield enough to cover her entire body.
“This girl is the girl I promised to introduce before. She is a great shield user and going to be the support tank of the team.”
“Good day, My name is Ronie. I‘m very happy that I’m invited to join the party. I’ll do my best supporting and protecting the whole team!”
“Ronie… I see, My name is Kaede nice meeting you. I’m also thankful to you. Because with you the whole team role is fullied.”
Just like Kaede said the whole team was fullied of the roles needed for a team.
In a team of five people. Kaede will become the Fighter, Yuki is the Assassin, Clover is the Mage/Support, Saya is the Marksman and Romie is the Tank.
Kaede looking at her team's face made an excited face.
“Our number is increasing… I wondering of us having a base.”
“Kaede are you planning to create a guild?”
“We already have five members. I think we can make a guild now. I’m also thinking of buying a house in the game. It's going to be our base.”
“That’s great but houses are expensive in this game.”
Clover said with a worried face.
“Money is not a problem… I still have my million gold from the hunting event. I sold the armor and only take the sword from the reward. I have lots of reserve money.”
“Kaede you have a third sword?!”
“It's still a secret it's going to be a great weapon in the event. For now, let's go and find a place to called home!”
The five girls started house hunting on floor 2. While wandering around they saw a peaceful town near a big wide lake.
Near the lake is a house that can be bought with gold for players.
A wooden house is not small and not that big. For five people to stay here this house is already far enough.
The house has a dining area, kitchen, living room, balcony, and a big room where the five of them can share if they wanted to sleep in the game.
“Amazing… This looks like a regular rest house.”
Yuki commented as she looks around the house.
“The house looks cozy and relaxing paired with the great scenery. I feel like I wanted to live here in real life.”
Clover said and sit down on the balcony facing the wide beautiful lake. The same way Saya and Ronie turned their glance on the sparkling water resulted from the sunlight reflecting on the water surface.
“Wow~”
“There is a kitchen here. Maybe we can have some skills like cooking or something. I wonder if there are cooking skills here in this game.”
Kaede said as she looks at the stove and other kitchen utensils.
“There are cooking skills in this game…”
Saya replied.
“Really?”
“That’s the main reason I became a marksman hunter. I hunt monsters that are said to be good tasting. I cook on my own to satisfied myself. This game has five senses as its feature including taste… Even, I eat too much in this game I won’t get fat.”
After looking around and checking everything all of the team members decided to buy the house and it became their guild base.
“5,500,000 gold?! I think money is a problem… I just have 2,000,000 gold with me. I never thought that houses are this expensive.”
Kaede said with an anxious face.
Yuki put her hands on Kaede’s shoulder and grinned.
“Don’t worry about money. Everyone wants to have their share.”
“But I’m the leader. I’m the one who should provide our needs.”
“Don’t worry about it Kaede, like Yuki said, it's fine so just take it.”
“I like being here.”
“Me too.”
“Everyone…”
With everyone's share, they were able to buy the wooden house.
After buying the house, they started decorating the house. Buying table and furniture and decorations.
A place for biscuits to stay is also made. A big basket with a huge fluffy pillow is placed on it.
Biscuit jumps and curls itself into and sleeps with a cozy look on its face.

Saya immediately used the kitchen and used her cooking skills. She was able to create many dishes around the table. Each dish looks delicious making everyone drool.
“Saya is really a great cook as always.”
Romine said.
“Ronie are you, friends, with Saya for a long time.”
“Yes, we're friends since pre-school. I’m always thankful for her being with me. Even I’m such a timid girl.”
Walking with another two plates with dishes. Saya places it on the table.
“You’re not timid. You just have that rare condition. Ronie has a bad health condition that makes simple things like heat make her body extremely tired.”
“That’s right, I have such a rare condition. I’m not making it to school sometimes because of this condition. Because of that, I made a hobby of entertaining myself in my room. I play many board games and then eventually discover games. I just recently play this game because I barely afford the hardware. When my mother and father gifted me this hardware I’m very happy. Because with this player's body, I feel sturdy and strong. I can run around like a normal girl. That’s why I’m doing my best to win our first battle event as a guild.”
Kaede smiled hearing Ronnie's story.
It feels like it's not wrong to put Saya and Ronie at her party. Beside Kaede, who carefully sipping her tea, Yuki felt the same way.
“Speaking of the guild, we don’t have a name yet.”
Claver said.
“That’s right, do you have something in your mind Kaede?”
Asked Yuki and turned her gaze on Kaede whose making a weird-looking smile on her face.
“We’re going to became the sword demon army!”
Kaede comes up to it because many players are calling her demon lord or sword demon in the game.
She hates it at first but now she says it with confidence on her face.
“Sword demon army? Well, Maybe Demon king's army is the best.”
“De-Demon king?! Are we the villains in this game?”
Ronie asked and shiver.
“Of course not, but playing as evil in the game is quite fun, right? Hehehehe.”
“Hehehehehe…”
Kaede and Yuki started acting weird to each other while making such sinister giggles.
“Don’t worry about them? Despite being weirdo, these two girls are really great players.”
Clover commented.
Kaede and Yuki’s heart was pierced upon hearing that. Yuki slaps Clover's chest over and over again.
“Who are you calling weirdo?! Also, your melons are annoying as ever!”
“My chest is not at fault here!”
While Kaede, Yuki, and Clover are acting friendly to each other.
The two girls turned to each other and smiled.
“Hahahaha…”
“We are not wrong in joining this guild after all.”
The name of Kaede’s guild was finalized. And when it appeared in the guild leader board everyone player in the game who knows Kaede was terrified.
“D-Demon king army?!”
“Kaede is really the demon king.”
“Terrifying.”

“That foolish girl is being high up on her head after winning two events consecutively.”
The one’s talking as the members of the guild called Legion of divine knights.
Inside a castle-like base that is currently holding their meeting together on a round table.
“What do you think leader? About this sword user Kaede.”
Sitting in the chain that's bigger than everyone. A serious-looking man with golden armor. His the number 2 top player and current number one. His name is Arthur.
“I think she’s not that much of a threat. With our multiple skills and members is there a way for them to defeat us. That answer is no. Those rookies can't defeat us whose playing this game since its release. Rather than thinking about her, we should think about taking “AAAAA’s” place as the number one player.”
“Leader is still into him…”
“He's the only player leader Arthur can’t defeat after all.”
“That’s all, for now, you can all leave.”
Arthur said.

Kaede sneezed.
“Are you having a cold?”
“Nope, maybe someone is talking on my back… Yuki did you know that the top player is named AAAAA. It's kinda funny right?”
“Now that you say it… I think it's really weird.”
Kaede and Yuki said while they sit relaxed while eating Ronie's cook snack as they look to the beautiful lake.
While they are relaxing. Many new opponents are coming on their way to the next event.
