“W-Were attending the same school!”
Amber's loud voice echoed in the library. Students whose doing their best to study turned here glare on Amber.
Her face turned red like a tomato and she behaves back in her seat.
“Hello…”
“Are you here to study for a retake?”
“Retake? There is no way we’re taking a retake. Don’t tell me that's the reason why you're both in the library.”
Kaede and Yuki nodded in response.
Kaede scratches the back of her head and made e gleaming smile.
“Well, we became addicted to playing. Also, the hunting event makes my mind focus on the game. I forgot the lessons. But now I do find my dream. My dream is to become a NEET and play games all day.”
Amber after hearing Kaede’s life ambition was tiffed. Not only her it also include Nell, Melie, and Yuki.
“I can’t believe I lost to this idiot.”
Amber muttered.
“Eh? Is being NEET bad. I mean many streamers online are just playing games all day. Are they considered a NEET?”
Hearing Kaede’s argument. Amber got a second thought about that idea. Maybe streamer and Online personalities are mostly NEET.
Gaming online doesn’t provide anything in the world. It's not a necessary thing to do. But streamers and gamers are paid well compared to an old man selling ramen on his cart and working his ass starting of the day.
Just the idea of working hard will never gonna make you rich. It is something everyone realized just now.
“Most of the game streamer sucks… And they are paid well. I feel envious. Are you going to be a streamer Kaede? You're quite cute. you're definitely going to be popular?”
“Eh? I don’t have much of a personality. I won't be popular.”
Kaede humbly said. But in truth that she never thinks she’s very cute. She is self consious like the other teenage girl. But just narcissistic thoughts don’t really go on her head.
No that’s not true at all. Kaede is very popular and an account made just for her is made online. Her cute pictures are scattering online. I must protect Kaede with those things. If she became popular. Limelight will definitely go on her. She will be a celebrity. She might forget about me.
Yuki's imagination runs wild and with a feeling of fear of Kaede abandoning her.
She grabbed Kaede’s shoulder and forced her body to face hers.
“Don’t leave me when you're popular… I’ll be you’re cook or driver…”
“Eh? Where did that come from?”
Yuki’s over-dramatic reaction made Aber and her friends more skeptical.
“Birds with the same feathers… I’m sorry I haven't introduced myself yet… My name is Kase Chiharu… Amber is just my player name.”
“I’m Kojima Yoriko. I’m Nell.”
“I’m Murakami Saki, nice to meet you. I’m Melie.”
After the introduction, Kaede and Yuki introduce themselves formally.
“Kishimoto Kaede and this sleepy head are Honjou Yuki.”
“Nice to meet you~”
Yuki said with an unenergetic tone and put her head down on the thick book. Using it as a pillow as she takes a nap.
“You're using your real name?”
“Is it weird? Well, I don’t have talent in naming.”
“Also, why Yuki is using her name too? You're a veteran player right. I saw you before.”
“Let's not talk about that.”
Yuki was frustrated after hearing those words from Chiharu. Chiharu has the image and feeling of why Yuki might feel that way. She didn’t ask for more. She composed herself and look at Kaede’s smiling face.
“Then, Chiraru is in the library.”
“We’re three is in the same club. It's called the literature club. We don’t really do literature in our club. We just want a place to hang out. Now our club adviser wants to give her some book reviews. She said she needs to show it to other teachers. That’s why we’re here doing our best reading this confusing text.”
“Same here, I don’t like reading the text without drawings.”
“Don't put me on your level… Looking at you you're not that intimidating. Unlike that sword user in the game. You're bending the game system itself. Your terrifying player is calling you Sword demon or demon lord.”
“It’s kinda cool.”
Kaede is imagining herself as a demon king laughing and underneath her is Yuki and Clover serving her.
“It’s you're cool with that then I guess it’s fine. How about you what lesson do you suck? Maybe, we can help you.”
“That’s right, Chiharu is the top of our class we can definitely help you out.”
“Really then please help me with everything. It’s embarrassing but I have a straight one-digit score in all subjects. I’m not alone Yuki is the same. I’m really happy that the top player… I mean, the top student is helping me out.”
Chiharu is in disbelief. In how dumb Kaede can be. At that moment, Chiharu’s frustration after being defeated widen.
Kaede takes the test paper out of her bag and shows it proudly on Chiharu, Yoriko, and Saki.
Presenting her single-digit scores in numerical order.
“Look it's like a straight flash! So cool right.”
“It's really a straight flash…”
“It's no good Kaede-san. Kaede needs to study more.”
Melie said.
“I can’t believe I was defeated by this girl. Anyway, Studying here will not gonna make you smarter. I need to tutor you. I decide to go to your house and tutor you.”
“You're going to come to my house! Feel free to sleep over then.”
“Well, then I’ll go sleep with you.”
“Gyaaaaaaahhh! No! No! No!”
Yuki's scream disturbs the student studying in the library. After giving her sharp gazes she seat down with a flustered face.
Still, she can’t let Kaede sleep with Chiharu easily like that.
“I’ll be sleeping on Kaede’s house too. It's unfair that you only tutoring Kaede. Also, Kaede’s is mine.”
Yuki said while she is holding her pen like she wanted to stab someone.
“I thought you're fast asleep… Also, don’t give me that Yandere look. You’re scaring me!”
After school hours.
As they decided Chiharu and Yuki comes over to Kaede’s house.
