“Wake up Kaede! Wake up!”
Clover whose guarding Kaede while she was sleeping. Immediately run and shake Kaede whose enjoying her time taking a nap.
Opening her eyelids. Kaede was still half asleep and rubs her eyes.
“What’s the matter? I’m still sleepy.”
“It’s not the time for that. Presence from the entrance is coming inside this cave.”
Kaede woke up and immediately turned off the light of the candle by blowing on it. They then run and hide in the deep part of the cave. Instead of her new white armor. Kaede wears her usual black robe knight armor and on her hand is her moon piercer.
Using detection skills. Clover was able to detect the player walking inside. There are about twelve of them in total. Kaede and Clover take a peek at them to see their appearance.
All of the adventurers are wearing a full set of armor and they look like a complete party. There were three swordsmen, two archmages, two support mages, an assassin, two marksmen, and a great shiel user.
“I know Kaede is powerful but battling them heads on will lead us to defeated.”
Kaede knew that if she was defeated here some of the points will be reduced. The hard work of Yuki might go to waste. As Yuki’s friend Kaede doesn’t want to disappoint her at all.
“There is no way out from this cave. The entrance is also the exit. When these people walked and search for us. There is still a huge possibility of us being discovered.”
“Do you have a plan in mind?”
Clover asked. Kaede replied with a smile and nodded. She didn’t gain the title of the sword demon for nothing.
While the players walked deep in the cave. Kaede shows herself. She was already buff with Clover's support skills.
Seeing her the player immediately recognized her.
“It's the sword demon!”
“The girl that won the battle royal event last time. This is the perfect time for revenge.”
A swordman player said.
“Sorry, but I can’t afford to lose here… Poison smog!”
From Kaede’s moon piercer blade. Violet smog was released and spread through the whole cave.
“The same trick will never gonna happened again!”
“Guardian Veil!”

The supports chant their skills and giving the players poison immunity. The poison didn’t affect the players and the swordsman ruins toward Kaede at great speed.
“How about this?! Paralyzing roar!”
The shock of lightning was spread in the cave, but still, it didn’t affect the player charging toward Kaede.
“Guardian Viel gives the player special status immunity for five minutes. Special status affecting skills are useless.”
Kaede grips her sword tightly and stays battle the swordsman heads on. They both clashed their swords together creating a loud metal sound. The sword of the swordsman was then cut into two after colliding with Kaede's moon piercer blade.
The other half of the blade flew and struck on the ground. With fear, he immediately retreated with his teammates.
“Such incredible damage… Crap, I spend a lot of real-life money buying that sword. Now it's broken. You're going to pay for this sword demon!”
“Sword demon?! I’ve been hearing it too much. Just who name me sword demon or demon lord in the first place? That guy better prepared himself because I’ll be chasing him down to the end of the world.”
Kaede said with a sharp terrifying glare.
The glare gives the players chills on their spine. They instantly step back for a second seeing Kaede’s rage.
The swordman pulled his courage and gets another sword from his inventory.
“Don’t be frightened she’s only one and she is a melee fighter. We can still take her down strategically.”
“Roger!”
After planning, the three swordsmen then surrounded Kaede at a decent distance where Kaede will never gonna able to reach them.
“Grand cross!”
“Grand cross!”
“Grand cross!”
Beneath Kaede, the ground glows and illuminated the cave. A Cross symbol was made and after three seconds of channeling. A powerful ray of light rose and burned Kaede's HP bar to the red zone.
Grand cross is a type of skill that deals true damage. Only sword users that reached level 50 can acquire this skill in a special quest.
With three of the same skill was used to Kaede. Kaede’s HP bar was then reduced to 1.
“My study body was activated.”
“The Sword demon is not just a nickname she is truly a demon. I can’t imagine someone was able to survive such skill.”
The two marksmen with their bows targeted Kaede. Kaede’s knowledge of evasion was activated allowing her body to move fast and avoid the attack coming for her.
From behind the thief, the player appeared with a dash. From behind, Kaede’s sword protected her and swallowed the player by using a bizarre eater.
FRom Kaede’s back, CLover revealed herself and chanted a support skill to help Kaede.
“Spirit guardian advance heal!”
Kaede's body was then covered with the limelight and her HP bar and MP were restored to the fullest.
The player was astonished to see Kaede having a support player in her back. Just Kaede alone is already giving trouble. With a help of another player. The trouble they can face is almost double.
But still, as a player, it's very shameful to turn their back and run away from Kaede. At this moment, they looking at Kaede as some kind of demon king. A demon king they must conquer to achieve the heights that they wanted to achieve in the game.
“We come this far… We can’t let this all end like this.”
“Kyoya… Don’t worry, we all know what you feel. We’re not leaving this battle.”
“Kyoya is the best.”
“Kyoya is my hero.”
“Defeat the sword demon lord! Kyoya!”
“Everyone… Let’s do this together!”
Kyoya the name of the swordsman and the leader of the party makes a grin hearing the words of his teammates.
Such a wholesome atmosphere was made. The trust of his friends was making him more powerful and his spirit was at its peak.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Kaede was skeptical knowing that she was seen not as a hero of this game. The players on the other side are acting like a hero of the heroic story or something and she is the evil that supposes to be defeated.
“So I’m the evil one…”
“Don’t let it go on your nerves Kaede it's just a game also… The demon king is quite a cool right.”
“Cool…”
Kaede then imagines her stepping in the player with a big smile on her face.
After a second thought, she accepted her title wholeheartedly.
“Sword demon… Like a sword demon king… Started to like it.”
Kaede muttered with a smug on her face. It made Clover a bit worried about her future.
“She looks happy.”
Kyoya steps forward and using a skill called “Power of friendship” to be chanted. Power of friendship skill was only given to players with their emotional bonds meets the requirement affection. The system giving this skill to them means their bond is the strongest in the game. Its also one of the rares skill can be acquired in the game like sword boost.
Kyoya raised his sword. Magical energy from his friends was then transferred to his body. Creating is attack power that grows in ten folds. He then made a sword stance and pointed it toward Kaede.
“This is the end sword demon!”
Kaede has no choice but to face the swordsman with her sword.
Kaede and Kyoya step forward and swing their sword with all of their strength.
“Power of friendship: Conquering Eon!”
“Moon piercer blade: Black poison dragon!”
The clash made a powerful force enough to made an explosion-like result upon clashing. The entire cave was destroyed with their skills.
The sound was heard in the far distance and Yuki recognizes the location immediately.
“That place… Could it be?”
With a worried face, she used her extreme speed and run quickly back to the cave. Arriving all she saw was the debris and the whole area got blasted away.
“What the heck happened here?”
As the smoke of dust drifted and revealing the players. Kaede’s sword breaks the sword and cuts through Kyoya’s body.
The other player was surprised by the result and Kyoya was defeated. They didn’t have any choice anymore. To avenge their friend they all charge it and used their most powerful skill.
Kaede’s SP was used and she can’t do anything at that point. Clover was stuck under debris and tried her best to get out on it.
Behind the players, a shadow looms over their bodies. They turned their heads around and saw a player up high in the sky.
“Extreme speed!”
With agile movements and fast attacks, Yuki defeated the players in instant. Their body was disappeared in light particles and their points were added to Kaede’s party.
“That was close thank you, Yuki. You always come to save me. I’m really happy.”
“Don’t worry, it's fine. It's normal because we’re friends.”
“Yep…”
Clover removes the debris on top of her and joined Yuki and Kaede.
“The adventurer attack I never expected that. Anyway, now that the base was destroyed what are we going to do.”
“Well, we can gain SP by resting. I guess, were doing that. We can’t let other players caught us off guard while sleeping after all.”
Yuki suggested after seeing what just happened. If Kaede was taken away 1/3 of the points they have will be taken away. Points are not the only thing Yuki was worried about. It also includes Kaede and Clover.
Kaede opened the map and saw near castle ruins. After that, they decided to stay in the ruin and take a rest. They all used items to replenished their HP and MP. To restore SP all they need to do is rest.
Arriving in the castle. What they saw is something that they didn’t expect.
“What was that? It killed a huge number of players and it's acting furious. I don’t know but we have to go away from this place as much as possible.”
Yuki was shaking seeing it.
A giant lizard-like monster covered with steel-like scale. It has one red eye on the center of its face.
Seeing Yuki shack is new to Kaede and Clover. To someone whos very confident with her skill. Then this monster must be a monster that should never fight.
The monster turned its face on Kaede’s party. It rapidly crawling creepily and chased down Kaede and the rest.
“Everyone take off your armors!”
Kaede and Clover followed. Yuki then let the two ride her back and she rapidly run away from the one-eyed monster.
After that, an announcement was made.
“Good evening players! A new type of monster was added to the event. An unbreakable destructible monster that has the power to defeat anyone in any range of levels. Seven of them were spread through the map. Everyone better be careful. We all wish the very lucky. Do your best!”
After the announcement. Yuki protested and shouted.
“Do your best my ass!”
Behind them, the said monster was still chasing them.
