A girl's secret

Chapter 2

Long time short time I trained to kill, went in missions not killing people, it was more like spy missions or fight ones or protect missions… But after what I think 1 year? Yeah, 1 year I got a new mission to kill someone. I remember every detail of that day.

It was late at night my parents were at a friends house for his birthday. I was sure they will take a lot of time to come back to be exact 6 to 5 hours and my sister was at a friend house for a sleepover. I got my dinner and things to kill time in a bag and took the streets for work.

There I saw the usual building with two guards up front.

"Who is there?" one asked with a robotic voice.

“Someone who wants peace, someone not pure as snow and with dirt in their hands from hell.” I respond without any emotion on my voice or face. They nod and let me pass through.

I entered the first room where there were two doors. One for people to come out and one for people to go in. The room that I had to pass to go to the real base was like our changing rooms. It was a room with a separate changing room with a door so no one knows your identity except the ones that have to.

The next room was a circle like room. It was with pretty much bright colors that make the difference to the previews one (it also make your eyes hurt from the light). There was a lot of people running around with files in their hand most of them with masks, except the ones that are the doctors here and the ones that sort out the missions detail and scientists or like I call them the guys out of the action.

As I walk to the door where the elevator is, most people avoid me. You see in this year I went to dangerous missions that most people will coward at it. I kind of liked that but not like that at the same time. Because I didn't have someone to talk, except some guys that I do missions with and my future team. Anyway, the elevator got empty and soon I was the only one there until I reached the 10th floor. It was my master office floor with the others master at his rank.

I knocked and received a come on in. The room is not much it is pretty much like the one of my dad offices but darker and more serious. Plus he had a big library with a lot and I really mean LOTS of books and files. ‘I wonder how he can find things in that mess of his.' I think as I bow.

“Master I heard you have a mission for me.”

"Yes indeed I have and it is going to be a killing one. Here are the details. Now get out I have a meeting." He gives me the file and I nod my head walking out with a lump on my throat.

‘I never killed someone what if I screw up?’ I was standing like an i***t looking at the file on my hands.

‘You will do fine kid, you can do it I am sure of that.’ Leo reassured me

‘Look who finally waked up.’ I think smirking underneath my mask while I head to my own office on the 12th floor.

‘Well sorry I had to sleep for a little bit we work our butts all the time these days.’ And he ends our conversation.

I arrived at the assigned desk given to me and sat down. I opened the file and see a photo of a man. With black hair and blue eyes with a background like a prison. He didn't have a smile just a serious face. Under the photo it had some info:

Age: 39

House: Venizelos 56

Family: unknown

Crimes: r**e and drugs

After I read all of the rest info that I don’t remember. I went downstairs going to the blacksmith to get some knives. The floor was the hottest place I have ever been to, in winter all the heat for the building was coming from there due to the fire that a lot of people use to make our weapons. When I entered I was greeted by the heat and the sound of the room like usual. I passed lots of blacksmiths that were building swords, kunais, knives and other things I couldn't understand.

I came to a stop when I saw one of the little people I call friends in this place. I could see only his back as he worked on something.

“Jake, I need some things from you.” I announce while he stops what he is doing and turned around. He was a man, well more like a teen of 17 years old. He had black hair normally brown but since he is all the time in this place it became dark. He had also blue to hazel eyes, a sweaty body from all the work and a muscular body.

“Hi squirt what’s up?” He asks drinking some water.

“I am here for some equipment and my katanas.” I say giving him a list with what I want.

“Wow that is a lot Skiofti, what is the mission?” He asks going to take my things.

“It is my first killing mission.” I say and he just stops, he stops moving and just turns around looking at me shocked.

“But you're only what 13?”

“Actually I am 10 but yes that means that I will learn about the powers I will have.” I say scratching the back of my head while chuckling a little.

“WHAT?! You are 10?! No way that means that you will be the younger one to become an assassin.” He shouts pointing at me.

“Shut up I may not be old but I am really a good member of this organization so just give me my things.” I was getting really annoyed and impatient with him.

“Okay just be careful, please?” He pleads while giving me puppy eyes and handing me my things. I put my little weapons in their holder and took my double swords, put them on my back while looking at him grinning under my mouth mask and giving him one of my shallots.

“I will try.” I shout over my shoulder to him.

“Just get in one piece and with life in you.” He shouts and he goes back to his work.

I head this time to the engineering department to see my other friend and for her to give me some smock bombs, cameras, electrocuting devices… the usual s**t and cool things. I climbed down the stairs until I was in front of a room with the sign ‘dangerous'. I put on a lab coat, gloves and boots. I entered another room and got cleaned so I didn't bring anything that could infect something. I got in and I saw a ball coming my way I ducked out of instinct the ball made a hole on the wall and door bunching in another direction. I glare to Marie because she was the one who throwed it.

“Sorry, Skiofti!” She shouts and goes under it to fix some things. I go up to her and lean on it and crossing my arms

“Soooo I see that you haven’t get your self killed, yet.” I say smirking giving her some tool she needed.

“Haha very funny but you are going to get your self killed in this mission.” She says grabbing the thing from my hand.

“News travels fast.” I tell her while looking around walking lazily.

"Zake wrote it in the site. I thought you knew." She says giving me her phone.

Zake announce

The kid of the devil going on its first assassination mission and it is only f*****g 10!!!!! OMG, this would be a record ladies and gentlemen. 

‘That guy he can’t keep his mouth shut.’ I think making a mental note to hit him in the face.

“Anyway let me just fix that-” And smoke come out from under the machine

“never mind that” she comes out and her face is all black with some licked on it.

"Here are the things that you asked." She said leading me to a table with many gadgets. I took some and nodded thanks to her. I got to the garage of the base at a fast pace.

“Leo come on out.” I say and the tattoo on my arm appear and start to glow. Then Leo comes out on his animal form, he was the same size as normal Leopard but he is two and half times a leopard.

“What-cha up Nik?” He asks grinning.

"I need you to become a motorcycle so I can get to our target." He nods and become a motorcycle, my outfit becomes a one piece with gloves. I grab my helmet and got on him. As he drove off somethings appeared in front of me.

“Leo, you don't have problems seeing what I see right?”

“No, I am fine.”

“Good, in a little bit someone will contact us okay?” I ask he doesn’t respond just did a horn.

“Hello?” A male voice says from my earpiece.

“Hey, kid of the devil here, you must be my computer man for this mission.” I say seeing the map and where Leo was going.

“Yes, but I will be your partner for the rest of your missions I will be on your team. My code name is Wolf but call me Li.” He says and a folder with his real face and other things appeared in front of me.

“Nice to meet you Li. I am the kid of the devil call me Skiofti and this is Leonardo or Leo my spirit animal.”

“Ok nice to meet you too, both. Anyway, I got the blueprints of the building.” A building construction comes in 3D.

“Good we are here I will turn the camera on” I get off Leo and he disappears back inside of me. My normal outfit comes back and Leo turns on my camera. 

“Ready?” Li asks, I nod and go up.

“Change the camera on point 4 (he does and I see all in blue colors and the people in orange) there is pretty much 20 of them (I whisper) ok change it back. Don't talk to me only show me. And no buts.” I instruct while I go in.

I went down the stairs avoiding as many as I could, but not all of them. When I reached some stairs I saw one blocking them. I saw one standing I went through my plan in my head, and shoot the senbo needle at his head, he falls down. I continue going down the stairs and see a door that seems important. I enter only to come face to face with one of them before he can shout I put him a strangler (device like snake the more you resist the more it tightens) on his mouth, feet, and arms. The next one shoot at me with a gun, I deflected the bullet and ran at him punch him in the gout, took his arm and made him flip. I look around and I see a computer in the room.

“Li I will put a bug so you can search for info send it to my email.”

I continued down and come to a hall door. The camera changed in point 4 I saw 10 men in there one with a red vibe, that was my target.

“Cut the electricity And put the camera to point 1," I say and all happened as I planned. I already saw that the door had a cod, so I made them open it for me. When he opened I pushed him back, the rest of the people got alerted from it and got into stance. One took out a phone to see who I was. I started paralyzes them and hit them in different pressure points for them to not be a threat. Then my target started shooting with his gun at me. I deflected every one of them with my katanas ready to kill him. When he runs out of bullets I pushed him back and he fell on his knees.

“Please don’t hurt me!” He started pleading not getting up.

“Why would I? Why would I show mercy to someone who attacked me just a minute ago and r***d people?” I asked getting closer from behind. I grabbed his head lifted it up to his neck was exposed.

“No please!” He shouts again

“I the Kid of the Devil sentence you to death for r****g women, children and men and for also drug dealing. Say hello to my father for me will you?” I say and slice his neck. I look at him breathing heavily. And that is how it all happened, my first kill.

‘I killed him, I killed someone. But someone has to do that work someone needs to be a demon for the others to be safe and be angels. From now there is no turning back.’

I get out of the building and Leo just appear without me telling him, without a word and he drove to the base. I enter the hall and most people turn to me and fell silent, as I walk to the stairs whispers started going around and even when they couldn't see me they still didn't talk. All the way up no one talked everything was silent. The rest I didn't remember it after the mission everything was a blur to me. But not because of the kill but because I knew that I made a contract saying that everyone near me will die if I make the wrong move. And there is no turning back the time and so it started, my life started like that not with me getting born, but with me finding my purpose in life.
