CHAPTER 10

Kira wanted to be a nice person, she pretends to be a better person and decided to cook dinner, although it was the nannies who actually did the cooking. When freedom, Melissa and Mr Harrison was home, kira called them to come have dinner that she prepared a lot of delicious food for them. Melissa can't take kira's disturbances anymore so she said to her, "you should be ashamed of yourself, mum's missing and you except us to be happy, playing around and eating?". kira then say to her,

"come on girl, I'm just trying to make you feel better, if there is someone to do that then it's me, besides if I feel the same way just as you guys who will be the one to say?...oh guys stop worrying mum will come back. you know worrying and thinking is not good for our heath, so please come eat".

Freedom told her to get lost then he went to his room as well as Melissa. Mr Harrison told kira that it's okay. He told her not to get his children wrong cause they are really missing their mother so she have to understand, then he went to his room.

After sometime, kira brought Mr Harrison's food to him in his room and told him to eat before going to bed. Mr Harrison told her to drop it on the table that he will eat later. He really ate before going to bed cause he needs to take his drugs as usual.

Bella said to jenny, "I really don't understand anything about the Harrison's wife disappearance, could it be that she's dead". Jenny shined her eyes while looking at her and said, "girl why will you say that".

Bella continued, "I mean the Harrisons are one of the richest family in the city and almost everybody knows that and if Mrs Mary was truly kidnapped, it could be because of money but didn't you say the kidnappers still haven't called".

Jenny replied yes and Bella said, " then there are two things involved, either she's dead or...", jenny cuts in and said, "or somebody just want her to suffer", and Bella said exactly but who could it be.

Day break jenny called Melissa to talk with her. She asked Melissa if before her mother went missing she noticed that her mother was scared or angry at something, or if she noticed any strange attitude about her mother. Melissa told her she's not really sure but if there is somebody to know then it's her father. She later went to her father at the office to talk to him at that moment after her discussion with jenny. Melissa said, "dad I can see you are not doing well at work, your manager just told me, don't worry dad everything will be fine". Mr Harrison asked her what brought her and Melissa told him is about her mum saying, "day before mum disappeared, did you noticed anything strange about her like she was scared or angry at something or maybe someone, you should know dad?".

Mr Harrison said, "um..I think I remember now, it's not like she's was angry, she was just curious about kira marrying freedom". Melissa asked him why, "I thought you both wanted freedom to marry kira, why the sudden change of mind, why was mum curious about kira marrying freedom?". Mr Harrison told her that her mother only told him that kira don't look the way she seems to be and nothing more, but normally everybody have good and bad in them, I think it's just she was not pleased when she saw kira's bad side. Melissa told her father thank you and left.

Melissa called freedom to meet with her somewhere alone. she told freedom that she think kira have something to do with their mother's disappearance. Freedom asked her that why would kira of all people be the one behind it. He told Melissa that she's over thinking and Melissa said to him that she's not, "I can remember onetime at that day before the day mum disappeared, she told me that we should both keep an eye on kira. Do you know she even told dad that they should withdraw from planning the marriage ceremony". Freedom asked her, then how does all this make you think kira is behind mum's disappearance. She told him that it could be that kira knew mum want to cancel the marriage ceremony. Freedom told her to wait and not tell anyone for now, that they should really keep eyes on kira's movement if the accusations about her are true.

Suddenly freedom's phone rang and when he answered it, it was his dad's manager, he told freedom that his father collapsed on the floor and was rushed to the hospital. When they got there they saw their father lying on the bed like a lifeless human being. They were panicking and freedom asked Melissa with anger that what did she really discussed with their father. Melissa said with fear, "I didn't say any bad thing to him.., i...I.. just asked him about kira...". Immediately kira came in, cause the manager also told her when she called Mr Harrison's phone. Then she asked Melissa, "if kira what?", then Melissa covers her noise and mouth with her two hands and looked at freedom, she didn't respond to kira's question.

After the check ups and treatments, the doctor came to them and told them that he had a stroke. Melissa and freedom asked the same time, "stroke!!!?". Freedom said, but my dad is a strong healthy man even though he's getting old, he always take his drugs. The doctor said to them that it is not just stroke, that he ate poison which actually cause the stroke. He said, "the poison was not meant to kill him but to harm him and from what it seems, it might be difficult for him to walk again. Freedom looked at Melissa and asked her what really happened at the office cause she was the last to see him before he collapsed. Melissa said they didn't discussed anything bad, the were no food, water, wine not even coffee on the table, it was just his books and laptop. The doctor told them not to worry that their father will be alright but for now he needs to eliminate the poison.

Later freedom told Melissa to forgive him for his reactions toward her then Melissa said she understand and she continued, "at first when I heard dad collapsed I thought it was because of mum, they told me he's not doing well at work ever since mum's missing, all he could do is just sit in the office and stare at mum's picture in his table". Freedom said, "well as for me, when I heard dad collapsed too I thought we would become orphans, mum is no where to be found and that is dad lying unconscious".

Bella called jenny and told her what happened to Mr Harrison. When she heard about it, she was just confused and was feeling very sad about it.

Kira called Tracy to discuss with her, "Tracy things are going the way they should but the aim is yet to be achieved, how do I make freedom marry me?". Tracy suggested to her that she should threaten freedom by trying to kill the person he love the most. Kira smiled and told Tracy "bad girl, I know you will always come up with something good enough, alright I'll see ya..., bye!!!".
