66th Tick: Rematch 4

Thomas walked back slightly, not wanting to get caught in their fight. The demon soldiers had formed a rough circle around the both of them. Obviously even the soldiers knew not to get in the way of their general. The demon general glared at Captain Wave and ran at him, grabbing his face. Captain Wave was pushed back into the ground, except his legs remained in the air as he spun. He spun to a stop and slashed down on the demon general with his sword in hand. She drew one of her daggers, knocking his blade aside before slashing at him. He floated out of range before landing on the ground again. The captain could barely raise his head when red slashes split him into parts. The clock’s minute hand ticked back by a minute, and he was revived. It was three minutes to two on the clock, he had already died three times including the surprise attack by the demon general. Captain Wave carefully paced around, the demon raising both daggers again. Captain Wave changed the gravity on her, and she was unable to put her arms down. He ran at her, blade in the air. He swung at her, but she had leaned forward and kicked him away. He lost focus for a moment and she slashed down with both her daggers. He died, revived. At that point, after two of those instant kill attacks, the ground was ruined and trees were destroyed. However, the red slashes had always stopped before hitting any of the demons present or Thomas. “Damn!” Captain Wave said as the demon general appeared in front of him, stabbing. He changed his center of gravity to be his big toe, leaning as far back as possible, ending up a few inches of the ground but still standing. He slashed up at her, his blade was deflected and she stabbed down with the other. He rolled out of the way and spun, faking the s***h and ending with a kick backed by horizontal gravity. The demon general was unable to dodge the sudden attack, instead, she held onto his leg by pressing it between her hip and elbow after it made contact with her side. She was thrown to the side, the force almost causing fatal damage, however, by holding on to him, she reduced it by going with the flow of force. While in the middle of absorbing Captain Wave’s attack, she slashed down with her left hand, her free hand. Red slashes appeared, cutting his leg off, along with the rest of his body and the ground. She stopped, clutching her side for a moment before raising both daggers in the air again. Captain Wave clutched his heart, his eyes wide. He had put almost everything he had into the fight and yet was barely able to keep up. Even with infinite lives, would he even be able to win? He pointed at the demon general. He had a move, similar to the idea of him creating a black hole. But it was destructive and hard to control. By creating a strong gravitational field in a limited area, and pushing it forward fast enough before dispersing it, it should create something like a bullet. Objects and people would be sucked into it, but it was too fast and limited for a whole person, so chunks of them would be ripped out. Captain Wave used the spell once while fighting a human criminal, the guilt of killing another human stuck with him since. He unleashed the spell named ‘Blast’. The gravitational field was invisible, so even the demon general would not be able to easily dodge. His aim was slightly off after having not used it for an extended period of time, so he only got her right arm. From her shoulder to halfway down her bicep, that part of her body just disappeared. Her arm dropped onto the ground, her dagger fallen and blood spilling. The trees in the background also had a circular hole in them in a straight line. “You lied.” Thomas commented. His strongest spell was not it create a black hole, but his ability Blast. He took a few deep breaths. He had finally done some substantial damage to the demon general, his victory was soon to come. He needed to end it quicker. His magic power was more than a third of the way burnt through after all the spells he had used simultaneously, especially Blast. The demon general looked at her fallen arm and stomped in anger. Captain Wave was taken aback at how she acted like a child. She held her dagger in her left arm and slashed down so fast that he was unable to react. The entire ground had a swirling pattern of slashed and Captain Wave was caught in it. He revived and tried to retreat, but she was upon him. He raised his blade to try and block her strike from above, but his sword broke and she cleaved him in half. He was revived and was instantly slashed in half through the torso without a chance to counter. He revived and his face was stabbed. She jumped on him, feet on his shoulders. She pulled it out and stabbed it down again at his throat. Captain Wave reversed the gravity, pushing her off of him. But she struck again, red slashes slashing through him and slashing the ground below even more. He cursed, when was she going to run out of energy? She landed behind Captain Wave, her eyes filled with anger he had never before seen. She spun, and Captain Wave was shredded into several layers. When did he ever think he stood a proper chance in a fair fight? He would have died in the first move. Blast. She stepped to the side, out of range of his ability. He needed to point at his target for it to work, and she had already figured it out. His attack missed, creating a circular hole in the ground. She kicked him back and slashed off his right arm. Captain Wave resisted the urge to scream and desperately pointed his index finger of his left arm. Through clenched teeth as she was about to kill him again, from below, he unleashed it. Blast.
